I went to Kame Ramen on the recommendation of a friend: it's now become a habit, the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly! Highly recommended!

Spurred by the photos and the positive comments, we decided to give it a try. The menu was a bit sparse. For an appetizer, we ordered grilled ravioli (they arrived after we finished the ramen). The insides seemed overcooked and only contained pork, but the sauce gave them flavor and spiciness. The ramen, in my opinion, wasn't very flavorful; the broth was very basic and not very hot. In fact, it didn't allow the spaghetti to finish cooking, so they were a bit al dente. The ramen itself was cooked well. My daughter had the Chicken Katsu Ramen without the vegetables; she liked the meat and the spaghetti, too. My husband had the same dish without any deprivation; he also liked it, but complained that the quantity wasn't enough to satisfy him and the price was high. In essence, the portions are small and are designed for Italian tastes and cooked by Italians.

I can't remember the last time I left a restaurant feeling so satisfied. The place is small, intimate, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The quality of the food is truly high, and everything on the menu is mouth-watering. The wait times are reasonable for the type of products served, which taste and feel like they're entirely handmade. The ramen and bao I ordered were truly delicious; perhaps the only slight negative is that the main course wasn't particularly filling (I realize this is a very subjective thing). The prices are very reasonable. I plan to return several times; highly recommended.

Ho cenato da Kame Ramen venerdì, approcciandomi per la prima volta (ma non ultima!) al ramen. Il locale è piccolo ma accogliente, ho però trovato il tutto un po' sconclusionato e senza un filo conduttore, capisco il voler alludere all'asia e alla sua cultura ma alcuni oggetti alle pareti parevano messi un po' a caso, con poca cura. Sarebbe bastato meno ma più pensato. Inoltre il nostro tavolo era in un angolino con un odore un po' spiacevole che ha purtroppo influenzato tutta la cena. Detto ciò il cibo è buono, il ramen super gustoso, soprattutto quello con il ragù piccante. Bao ben fatto e sfizioso. Prezzi forse un pochino alti per le porzioni. Tutto sommato non mi sono trovata male ma mi aspettavo un po' più di cura al dettaglio. La ragazza che si occupa di tutto, dall'accoglienza al servizio, è molto molto carina e gentile. Forse ci tornerò per ricredermi.

11/07/2025: Nice place for a lunch break, basmati rice needs updating but the overall ingredients are good and fresh, the flavors are noticeable so you can feel a hand working well!!

04/10/2025: We happened upon it by chance on our way back to Varese from a trip to Pavia. In a former farmhouse typical of Lombardy (a very interesting cultural contrast!), we found this delicious AYCE restaurant. My father and I are quite experienced and passionate about this type of cuisine (almost everyone in the province knows us by now), but we really, really enjoyed our meal here. The menu is varied, well-presented, and the dishes are well-presented, with a lot of attention to detail that's lacking in other similar establishments (for example, the fact that they don't bring you all the dishes at once, but rather serve them one or two at a time based on how quickly you eat is a little touch we really appreciated). My father especially enjoyed the spicy soy spaghetti with shrimp, ordering a second helping—among the best he's ever had. The staff were very friendly. It's a shame it's so far away, but if we were to pass through this area again, we'd definitely stop here!
