Not bad food, top location, disco-level music not comfortable during the aperitif

The place is magical, particularly at the end of the day with the sunset. The day is chill and deckchairs, then it comes alive in the evening with tapas board and music (live) all surrounded by real locals. We don't remember the food (except for the fried squid) but the atmosphere, the place and the adorable service. I recommend (be careful to reserve before)

I celebrated my birthday in this bar/restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't eat very well, we had the raw seafood appetizer but everything only tasted of lemon. Watered down spritz and too strong negroni. The view is certainly the highlight of the location. If they focused more on the quality of the food and cocktails it would certainly be a great place. Courteous staff and fast service.

We booked a table for 8 people to have an aperitif at sunset. They make us sit in the lounges with a small table, we order aperitifs and they bring trays that take up all the space. Next they bring the plastic plates which we had to hold in our hands because there was no space to put them. They bring the various drinks and we point out that by holding the glasses it was not possible to continue eating and realizing the situation, they bring us another small table to place the drinks. Terrible service, 8 people with a small table with a considerable difficulty, the beauty of the location is not indifferent, a very impressive sunset, the aperitifs were normal.

We booked the night before. Good welcome, as soon as they accompany us to our table, we realize that they had the wrong idea to seat us along the walkway that leads down to the sea, on two seats and with a low table of the same height. Impossible to think of being able to have dinner there... We refuse to take a seat and they tell us that the other tables on the terraces are for more than 2 people, which is not true because there are several couples already seated at tables of 4. In the end they kindly allow us to sit at the restaurant's table more internal, in front of the toilets and next to the space where they cook... Never mind, the view is fantastic anyway and just don't think about it, we didn't want to ruin our evening. We order, in the meantime the mosquitoes attack us, I a Kalandria Sushi and my friend a Kalandria Vegan, I a gin and tonic and she a non-alcoholic fruit cocktail. The food is not bad, although I expected more from Sushi, they write 20 pieces on the menu, which in number they are, but in a miniature version with a hint of fish flavour. My friend's vegan dish turns out to be discreet. They bring drinks in long, narrow glasses, terrible in my opinion for cocktails and my gin and tonic was terrible. Perhaps the price is a little expensive compared to what you ate and drank. Background music and then also live music, pleasant atmosphere, location 10 cum laude, I already knew it at the time of Candelai. The wonderful location of the terraces certainly makes you forget some of the things that didn't go well. Sufficient rating.

Non c'è un posto così bello in tutta la costa palermitana. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo in un'atmosfera rilassante e gioiosa, con musica dal vivo di alto livello. Il tramonto da cartolina è meglio di quello nelle foto e il locale sembra è una piattaforma sul mare indimenticabile. Ottimo il sushi, in una grande varietà di scelte e fatto da professionisti del genere. Andateci subito

Abbiamo festeggiato il 18 compleanno di nostra figlia con una trentina di ospiti. La posizione naturale del Kalandria è incantevole! il locale ha una struttura minimal molto rispettosa dell’ambiente naturale che lo ospita. Ci è stata proposta un’apericena ricca e di buona qualità su un’ampia scelta di 5 menù. Da segnale l’ottimo sushi. Il locale è ben frequentato, ci si sente accolti e servizi con gentilezza e disponibilità apprezzabili. Ottima musica modulata nelle diverse fasi della serata (lounge bar in prima serata, dance dopo una certa ora). La proprietà è estremante disponibile ad accogliere le richieste e ad accontentare i clienti, ponendosi sempre con cortesia, affabilità e professionalità. Assolutamente consigliato sotto tutti i punti di vista. Grazie Kalandria per aver regalato un bellissimo ricordo alla nostra festeggiata e a tutti noi. DM
