Lido Trocadero has always been a charming place to spend a few hours on the beach; it's truly relaxing. My heartfelt kudos to chef Rosy, who prepares excellent, special dishes that are simply delicious! And also to Anna, who with perseverance ensures everything runs smoothly... even organizing music evenings to ensure everyone can enjoy a different kind of evening without getting bored. Oh, and Francesco's pizzas, delicious. I recommend this beach resort to anyone who loves simplicity.

I'm here on vacation and I chose Trocadero Beach! The place is really nice, and there are tables outside for playing cards and you can also have lunch/dinner. But you can't count on them for a snack because they have very little, especially ice cream!

We booked through spiagge.it: €34 for a beach umbrella in the last row with two deckchairs. We arrived and discovered that the front row cost… €30. Basically, we paid more to be further from the sea. Brilliant. At the restaurant, we mentioned the presence of a vegetarian and, full of enthusiasm, ordered three different types of pasta. The response? “You can't serve three different first courses at the same table.” And we thought we were in a restaurant, not a military canteen. We settled for a vegetarian spaghetti, two with clams, and a fried calamari. Minutes pass… then fifteen minutes… and meanwhile, the tables that arrived after us are being served. • 1:45 PM: the vegetarian spaghetti arrives. • 2:16 PM: the two with clams arrive, with so much salt we could have used them to de-ic the winter roads. (And we weren't the only ones complaining.) • 2:40 PM: The mixed fried food arrives. Too bad we only asked for calamari. Worth mentioning: a kind and helpful lifeguard, who stood out for his courtesy. Too bad he wasn't the one cooking. In short: the sea is beautiful, the service less so. And unfortunately, certain experiences end up leaving a bitter aftertaste... more so than the salty clams.

I returned to the Trocadero after a long time and noticed that the restaurant's cuisine is undergoing a very positive renewal. In the last few weeks, I've dined there for both lunch and dinner and have found an excellent balance between seasonal products, local seafood, and solid cuisine that respects tradition but doesn't shy away from creative, yet never overbearing, touches. The restaurant offers off-menu dishes every day and is quite willing to accommodate special requests by reservation. Perhaps it's because the restaurant is run by two sisters—one takes care of the dining room and guests with kindness and attention, the other pours her skilled passion into the kitchen—but the end result is a restaurant right on the beach with an enviable view, offering good food and a relaxing welcome, ideal for a seaside meal! The outdoor dining room, which overlooks the beach, is elegant, understated, and relaxing, ideal for unwinding and leaving your worries behind. Among the multitude of restaurants scattered along the coast, it's the only one I've returned to multiple times and will return again. Finally, a word of praise for the prices, which are more than fair for the quality and never make you regret eating there. Recommended.

An oasis of peace on the Ionian coast, where the food is good and the atmosphere is almost tropical. The raw fish and pasta dishes are delicious, and the portions are generous. We hope to return.
