Very charming and well looked after place. Polite and kind staff. The dishes are good: tasty sandwiches and pizza made with excellent ingredients. Prices in line with offers! For my personal taste I would have preferred the sandwich bread to be a little softer. I wasn't thrilled with the beer meatballs.

Very assorted menu. You can order from pizza to a second course and much more. A good choice of beers and wines too. Always fast service and courteous staff. An excellent pub that manages to bring together different tastes and needs. Plus a beautiful location in front of the Aragonese castle. One of Taranto's historic pubs.

It's the same welcome you get when you go to visit friends. The craft beer is truly a pleasure and the food is always fresh and quality. Always extremely clean. The staff is kind and willing to listen and give advice, they manage to create empathy. ALL BEAUTIFUL

Magnificent place, Located in front of the Aragonese castle Very attentive staff. Quality meat. It has been our point of reference for years. I highly recommend it.

Avevamo voglia di bere una birra stuzzicando qualcosa .. Abbiamo preso bruschette, patate al forno con cheddar e bacon,frittini vari e la scroccarella che, in tutta sincerità, era morbida e non scroccava per niente, ma era molto buona... Il valore aggiunto è stato il cameriere Antonello, troppo simpatico e cordiale ( anche gli altri che ci avevano servito fino a quel momento, molto molto carini), ci ha conquistati immediatamente, torneremmo anche per chiacchierare ancora un po' con lui. Volendo trovare un difetto, ma probabilmente è una mia fisima, il locale è troppo buio, anche una piccola lucina in più andrebbe bene. Ah.... Prezzi assolutamente onesti.

23/11/2024: Excellent restaurant, we had a great time, nice, attentive and friendly staff, very fresh fish, excellent appetizers and first courses, excellent Taranto mussels, top sauces, super recommended, normal prices
18/11/2024: Outstanding! This place is the one in Taranto. It's a little tucked away, just off the sea front, but absolutely worth seeking out. It has that perfect balance of elegance and informality that is hard to define but so enjoyable when you find it. The host, one of the proprietors, was welcoming and amusing, and most importantly was very helpful with the menu. When he suggested sharing dishes rather than overordering, we knew we were on to a good thing. And he replaced my wine choice with a slightly cheaper one. Can you do better than that? The food, all fresh from the sea, was delicious: uncomplicated and ingredient based. What Italy, and Puglia in particular, does best. We fell into it almost by accident, but can't wait to go back.
