Josto In Cagliari

A good place but very expensive for what it is. I had quite high expectations for this place and it didn’t live up to it.

From the service to the food Josto was a great experience. We went there without a reservation and they were so sweet in accommodating us. The food was amazing they revisit traditions all while maintaining the essence! The staff was just great extremely friendly and there to guide you through their creations! I recommend 100 times if you are in Cagliari!

It is an exceptional place, worthy of note and mention in the guide. Tradition and innovation come together in a discovery of the flavours, aromas and colors of this land. The service in both the dining room and the sommelier was also excellent, with whom we had a very pleasant chat. Excellent wine list, in its 279th draft. The dishes that fall into the top three are soft fregola, panzanella and amberjack with scapece courgettes. Well done!

A particular and very New York environment, interesting dishes and research into combinations of very balanced and pleasant flavours.

Food tasted great but we had a long wait between courses.

We had a very nice 7 course meal at Josto. We were the only guests with children but the kids had their own couch, which the kids could use to relax, they also made extra food for the kids. My son told me to give 5 stars for that :) It's not the typical family restaurant but with a bit help with lego & Mobile Phone it defenitly works . The food was really good, a lot of work and thoughts went into each course. We had a wine pairing, which the sommelier rearranged for us, especially the pairing for the Bottarga Pasta and the BBQ was so nice, but all the wines were really nice. The chef and sommelier were super friendly and gave a lot side infos and gave everything to give us a great night. They were successfull and we will come back at our next Cagliari visit ;) thank you so much @Team Josto

Very nice location, excellent service, special dishes. The menu is not very extensive, preference for starters over first courses

Wonderful place with a very special tasting menu. Definitely worth the visit.
