Josna Ristorante Indiano In Genova

This is our second time back at JOSNA this year... and with friends, too. The place, as always, is impeccable and spotlessly clean; special mention goes to the bathroom... the atmosphere has remained unchanged: elegant yet convivial. Starting with the service, there wasn't a single flaw in our experience; the person who welcomed us took us on a journey through Indian cuisine, advising us, based on our tastes, on the best choices and pairings to fully enjoy this incredible cuisine. The appetizers were shared among everyone and included a variety of samples, enough to satisfy even the smallest stomachs. The main courses, on the other hand, express, according to their own words, the essence of true Indian cuisine, and the care taken in their preparation is palpable. (Don't be afraid of the spicy food; you can even choose the level!) The price is in the medium-to-medium-high range depending on the order, obviously, but absolutely in keeping with the service this place offers! I don't have any photos of the appetizers, I was so happy I forgot to take them and the others are terrible, I was hungry.. 😅

We visited Genoa for the boat show, stayed closed to this restaurant. A family run restaurant which I have to say is exceptional. Very friendly, excellent authentic Indian food, fresh ingredients and lovely setting. It was so good we eat here 2 nights in a row. We are british, living in italy so great to have experienced some good quality indian food. Congratulations to Taj and his team.

Fine cuisine and a warm welcome. Amazing desserts

An Indian restaurant in Genoa's historic center. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. We had the chicken kurma with coconut milk and almond cream and another dish with lamb in a spicy sauce. We served everything with rice and Indian bread. Professional and friendly staff

The atmosphere was really nice and clean. The food was fine and acceptable, but the portions were quite small. The rice, for example, was barely five tablespoons—enough only if you were on a diet.
