Very friendly service and absolutely delicious food in an American diner atmosphere, prices are absolutely ok. You should have tried it

I love pizza and pasta as much as the next Italian traveller, but if you fancy something a bit different on your travels around Lake Garda, then don’t be afraid to call in at John’s Burger. A home to fabulous burgers and a homage to 50’s and 60’s rock n roll. The atmosphere and decor is amazing and something a kin to Arnold’s from the TV show ‘Happy Days’. Throw in an AI DJ system that plays out great rock n roll hits with videos from every era, then you have the recipe for a great meal! The food is just what you expect from the description, with a great range of tasty burgers and creamy shakes all delivered with great service at a fair price. Family friendly and just a short walk from the water front in Desenzano.

You could eat the burgers, but they weren't particularly good. I specially ordered a large drink (0.5l), the first glass contained a maximum of 0.3l due to the mass of ice cubes. I deliberately ordered the second drink without ice, which, judging by the waiter's expression, wasn't his favorite order. Ice cubes are okay in principle, but in this quantity the intention behind them is simply clear. The volume of the music in the restaurant doesn't invite me to linger, at least for me. I don't have to go there again.

Huge burgers, fun diner if you need a break from pasta

The burgers here absolutely slap. Visiting lake Garda for a week on my European travel quest, I gave this burger spot a try to change up the pace from the fish from the area which honestly is hit or miss so do your research when it comes to that. The burgers were juicy, hot, and really had the right toppings to bring out the flavor. The appetizer sampler was simple, but again fresh and hot. The pepper poppers were actually pretty delicious. The vibe in the place is also pretty retro with videos of musicals like grease and footloose playing. Reminds me of places home in NYC, but better burgers. You could definitely taste the difference with the chianini burgers. Definitely a must have. Great atmosphere for family’s or just a bunch of friends hanging out.

Place with strong references to the 60s American style. Interesting and concrete menu Very good and above all large sandwiches. Quality and honest price. Friendly and helpful staff

The burger was now quite okay, as were the Twister Fries. In my opinion, the burger was missing more side dishes for a 12.00 burger + there was no sauce. The chicken wings were fried too much that they tasted a bit charred, or rather they weren't that good. Wherever we complained there was simply a meaningless statement. The service wasn't that great because of that. Otherwise entertaining restaurant.

Typical American style place like Happy Days...... huge burger and really good ribs. Courteous staff.

Sul servizio e sulla qualita' del cibo nulla da dire, se vogliamo trovare un difetto troppo veloci nel prendere gli ordini e nel portare via i piatti

Locale in stile anni 50 con ottimi hamburger, ingredienti freschi, personale cortese (il titolare ci ha chiesto alla fine se fosse andato tutto bene e e senza spendere una follia. Consiglio di parcheggiare al parcheggio Cavour che dopo le 20 è gratuito (dista 5 Min a piedi dal locale)
