Jo botto In Cori

It's been years since I've been here. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable. Everything is excellent. Generous portions, fast service. The only micro remarks, in a super positive experience, that I feel like making: 1. The cream of the revisited carbonara should have been slightly more cooked in my opinion. 2. I noticed too many "ear-pullings" to the waiting staff. Perhaps pointing out the errors separately would be more appropriate.

Classic restaurant where you eat as if you were at home.... excellent dishes

Typical tavern in the center of Cori. A little hidden, inside the Hotel del Colle. Location still stuck in the 70s with a small, very private internal garden. Very friendly welcome, but the real difference is made by Giuseppe, a unique and unrepeatable host, he believes in his profession with every cell of his heart, passionate and in love with the dishes that his mother has been offering and cooking for more than 60 years, capable of narrating the menu in such a way that he could sell you anything and let you taste everything. The cuisine is real, authentic, passionate, with delicacies all homemade, from stuffed and non-stuffed pastas, sauces, cooked meats and desserts. Generous, tasty and characterful dishes. Simple, attentive and fast service. Prices in line with what is served.

Excellent and plentiful starters, excellent first courses, quality meats expertly cooked and served. Absolutely worth trying.

Really excellent dinner, very good first courses but the best came with the braised cheek, really special. The Service is also excellent. It really deserves it!

Excellent Experience!!! Excellent lunch… Lots of starters, top quality. Chianina and pecorino pigi!! Top Very kind and generous owner... he let us taste the saffron spaghetti and offered bitters and biscuits. The Straconsiglio!!!

Excellent food, really great quality! The owner/room manager's way of managing the dining room staff is unacceptable. Not very respectful. I felt in difficulty. I won't go back for this reason.

Durante un viaggio tra Napoli e Roma abbiamo deciso di dedicare qualche ora a visitare il paese di Cori: scoperta entusiasmante! Parte significativa della piacevolezza della nostra giornata è stata la scelta di questo ristorante: ristoratori da 4 generazioni, sanno come accogliere! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo (la mamma in cucina è fantastica: pasta fresca, carni, verdure, dolci. Tutto non buono, eccellente!) e siamo stati accolti ancora meglio. Indimenticabili i carciofini stufati con il prosecco, la carbonara “sbagliata” con il tartufo, le bruschette con le puntarelle, la cicoria, i biscottini col vino (il Nero Buono). Ritorneremo sicuramente con amici: Jo Botto vale assolutamente un viaggio da Napoli!

Ottima mangiata in questo posto che in prima battuta si caratterizza per l’accoglienza e la simpatia del gestore/proprietario. Anche il resto del personale peró è disponibile e gentile. Non viene presentato un menù scritto ma i piatti vengono elencati dal ristoratore e sono tanti e anche vari. Luogo accogliente e nonostante fosse pieno si chiacchierava bene. Un ristorante familiare e casereccio “il giusto” in cui sicuramente tornerei volentieri per assaggiare altro.
