Jiu Zhou Ristorante Cinese In Padova

We were still looking for an open restaurant at 10 p.m. when changing trains to NJ. This was a bit hidden (actually scary in the dark) but actually open. Huge menu and since the young waiter couldn't speak English we made a bold choice. The food was freshly made and very tasty, with chili also spicy. Absolute recommendation!

The portion is huge and the price is very cheap

Favourite Chinese Restaurant in town!! Pretty sure it is not for everyone tho. If you are someone who can’t handle savoury/spicy food of authentic Chinese food, you might want to consider again. BUT, if you like spicy food or want to experience the authentic feeling, I don’t think there is any other Chinese restaurant you should go for in Padova other than this. (I have dined in more than 10 times, the server can be a little be ignorant at times but the quality of food justifies it!!!)

A little hidden restaurant, in a not very nice area. But you won't regret it. Concrete and faithful offer to Chinese cuisine, original dishes and authentic flavours. Recommended are the lotus, the taro (amazing in its crunchy outside and soft inside consistency) as well as the toufu, cooked very well. Additional note for the spicy and sour aubergines, excellent and delicious. The environment is quite informal, perhaps not very refined, but the dishes make doubts and uncertainties disappear. Excellent value for money. Many #vegan and #vegetarian options.

There are many types, including skewers, dry pot, stir-fries, braised vegetables, etc.

Brilliant authentic Chinese dishes (skip to the Sichuan section of the menu and beyond). Best Chinese food I've had since China (and I have tried and searched long and hard across Europe!). The tastes and smells transported us back to China for an evening. In particular, I've been desperate to find a good braised eggplant (红烧茄子) after years of searching for this (my favourite dish) done well in Europe - try it out if you haven't before!

The food is top We went to the karaoke room Who unfortunately didn't have access to YouTube so we had a limited selection but all in all we had a lot of fun!
