Jin Xi Yuan In Milano

My heart was soothed, my stomach was full, and I left feeling so happy I could almost hear musical notes. I ordered: Sparkling water Spicy stir-fried squid Miso jjigae Buchimgae White rice The jjigae came with rice, and five small side dishes were served alongside it. (Kimchi? Kombu? Green vegetables? Bean sprout namul? Potato stew?) The moment I took a bite, I knew this restaurant was serving authentic cuisine. The jjigae had a gentle flavor of miso and tofu, followed by the aroma of green chili peppers, and a pleasant, spicy kick, creating an exquisite soup. After cleaning my palate with the soup, rice, and side dishes, I started on the spicy stir-fried squid. Even though I don't like spicy food, this dish had a deep, rich flavor that I couldn't stop eating. All of these were delicious, but the dish I would like to highlight is the buchimgae. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! It was the best buchimgae, packed with the delicious flavors of vegetables and seafood. In Italy, there is an abundance of animal-based fermented foods like yogurt and cheese, but not many foods that contain a lot of plant-based lactic acid bacteria, like miso and kimchi. Korean food is a healthy alternative, using many plant-based fermented foods, so I am truly grateful that a restaurant like this exists in Italy. And above all, the food is absolutely delicious. I have traveled to Korea many times, but even there, there are probably very few restaurants as delicious as this one. It was a wonderful experience. It's located a little outside the city center, on a dark street, but don't be afraid to go in. I can recommend it with confidence!!!

Here, the seafood pancake is a work of art, the marinated pork and chives (if chives aren't available, they make a salad with them, which is delicious), and the kimchi stew! Mom's cooking is top-notch!

I'm crazy about the stone pot bibimbap. I quickly finished kimchi stew, pork belly, and three bottles of soju.

The Korean owners and their husbands are very friendly. I went with my parents, and the food and side dishes were all delicious!

I arrived very late, but luckily they took my order and it was delicious. I had the spicy pork stone pot bibim, and my husband said it was the best Korean food he's had in Europe. Haha. We've been to Europe for over 50 days this year and last... The side dishes were neat and tidy, and each dish was delicious. The pajeon (green onion pancake) was loaded with seafood, making it incredibly delicious. The restaurant was also very spacious and comfortable. The owner, who greeted me warmly despite my late order, was very kind and attentive, leaving us feeling refreshed and satisfied. I'd love to go again!

I went there right before closing time, and the owner was so kind and welcoming, which was really nice. I'd only ever had pasta and pizza, so I was craving Korean food, and it was delicious.

Minimalist atmosphere, frequented mostly by Asian customers; the night I went for dinner with my family, we were the only Westerners. The food, while not a fan, seemed excellent and well-prepared. Don't feel bad if you're unsure how to enjoy a dish or one of the many sauces served with it: just ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Open late. The food is decent, but there's too much seasoning. The service is a bit cold.

I've been coming here every time I'm in Milan for years, and you know you're in the right place because if you're in a Korean restaurant and 90% of the people are Korean sitting at the tables nearby, it means the food is close to what they would eat. The jjajjanmyeong are out of this world, and so is the japchae. Do you like Korean cuisine? Come here.

Food is so good!! The mister is so accommodating. Highly recommended for authentic korean food in Milan!
