The Jeans Restaurant is a bet that won from the start. You can't come to Melfi without having a meal at Jeans. Upon arrival you are greeted by an elegant and refined atmosphere, but without too many frills. The dining room staff is always excellent and highly professional. The management is always attentive to the well-being of the customer. The culinary offerings range from refined dishes to gourmet burgers, ideal for any type of consumption. Each dish carefully reflects the Lucanian culinary experiences, with particular attention to seasonality and the high quality of the products. Unbeatable value for money. Absolutely recommended.

A real surprise, I was able to enjoy a dinner with attention to the smallest details, a wide variety of delicacies presented impeccably in a perfect crescendo of flavors and tastes. I highly recommend taking the time to fully enjoy the Chef's rare skill.

È stata per me una piacevole riscoperta tornare a Jeans ristorante dopo anni che mancavo dalle colline del Vulture. Ha lasciato intatto la formula vincente che ricordavo: cucina nostrana sapientemente rivisitata, piatti audaci ma con salde radici nella tradizione e ambiente di gran classe come pochi. Location: pura sobria eleganza Servizio: cortese e competente Pietanze: ti conquistano già all’aspetto, la loro bontà è la conferma di quanto gli occhi hanno appena ammirato Titolari: cortesi, gentili e premurosi Prezzo: in linea con quanto sopra. Consigliato per pranzo di lavoro come anche per pranzo/cene intime.

Elegant place, hospitality and courtesy at starry levels. Delicious land starter, truly sublime lamb chops and dessert that concludes a perfect evening. An account that left me amazed, in fact I would have paid more for the whole context. Obviously, applause goes to the waiter and the manager, very polite people who are always present. We felt pampered. A surprise that made the evening perfect for us.

Short visit to Melfi, accommodation in the Valleverde area. I already notice this restaurant while I go to the BB; I'm curious about its name: Jeans. Later I was recommended for dinner by the manager of the BB where I stayed overnight and it was then easy to get there: not far away, I had memorized the route. Well: big surprise! I found myself in a very refined, welcoming and warmly colored environment. The menu surprised me: soon brought to me by the waiter (friendly and very willing to explain to me the characteristics and variety of the courses and condiments available), I immediately found it respectful of the Lucanian style, but at the same time capable of very intriguing variations on the theme! I opted for the sea, and I want to highlight one of the courses ordered: cod with herbs and Oscar-winning yellow datterino gazpacho! A special mention goes to the quality of the raw materials, already appreciated by a mixed salad which as a matter of habit I always ask for as a first course, regardless of the menus and any appetizers present there. Don't hold me against it: I don't drink alcohol, I can't tell you about the wines which however have a visible physical space, excellently integrated into the furnishings (and into the dedicated menus). Exceptional value for money, a restaurant to visit again for future trips to Melfi. Ah, the name "Jeans", which intrigued me, and the reason was revealed to me: in the past the premises housed a manufacture of that product...

L'ambiente del Jeans è accogliente con una bella atmosfera soft. Il menù è invitante. Opriamo per tre antipasti di terra ,tre risotti di zucca , una frittura da dividere in 2 ( purtroppo manca la versione glutenfree) un contorno di patatune glutenfree ed una bottiglia di rosato. Tutto molto buono...peccato che il mio antipasto di terra, versione GlutenFree ,sia arrivato monco di due portate e pagato uguale alle 2 versioni "normali" composte da 4 portate,evidentemente non idonee a me Celiaca. . Bastava sostituirle anche con del formaggio o dei salumi. Una vera pecca cosi come qualche svista nel servizio. Ho gradito il pane riscaldato. Torneremo e magari opterò per un primo ed un secondo tralasciando l'antipasto. Alla prossima.

Beautiful, very beautiful! Attention to the smallest details... The name, in my opinion, is not appropriate, it makes you think of a place for very young people! All good, but my spaghettoni with clams were excessively large and too al dente. I had a hard time chewing them! Normal spaghetti, right?

I ate a slice, it was served on an oil griddle, a nice idea but it arrived overcooked... overall everything was ok, the only flaw is that when eating outside, even if the environment is very nice, you eat very close to the road , it is therefore inevitable to smell the stench of the exhausts of the cars that pass by in large numbers. A note to the waiter…. A smile costs nothing 😁
