I had lunch at this restaurant recommended to me, and the food was excellent. With some hesitation, I ordered a Margherita pizza (obviously, I asked for the oregano to be omitted, as they assume the base for any pizza is tomato and oregano) and was pleasantly surprised by its lightness, crispness, and flavor. My companion also ordered a 4-cheese pizza (with some modifications, namely omitting the tomato and oregano and dicing the cheeses into small pieces, not creamed). It was truly a wonderful discovery, essential for Italians who want something similar to our pizza.

The pan-fried egg with speck and the super kaiserschmarn are delicious.

The "Säge" (Sawmill) is located near the Angerer snack bar and offers a wider selection of dishes and an unparalleled view of the Reintal valley. While it's advisable to reserve a table in the evening, you can easily find a cozy spot during the day, as the kitchen is open all day. It's also worth stopping by for coffee and homemade cakes and apple strudel. The pizzas are also delicious—paper-thin, generously topped, and bigger than the already large plate! 😉 The price is reasonable for the quality, and the service is friendly and efficient. What more could you ask for? You can also access the Säge from the cross-country ski track, or hike or drive up. With more snow, the road might be difficult to navigate, but it's less than a 10-minute walk from the Angerer parking lot. Anyone visiting the Reintal valley should definitely pay the Säge a visit.

A wonderful place to take a break – a very, very friendly host couple welcomes you – and it's located right on the cross-country ski track. Those who complete a long loop are rewarded here. All the dishes on offer are highly recommended, whether macaroni and cheese, pizza, or bacon with roasted potatoes and fried eggs, not forgetting the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake).
