An 8-minute walk to the top allows you to continue hiking and enjoy the nature and culture. And it's wonderful to relax at the mountain station with a Jausen Brett.

Overall, the staff are super friendly and the ride is nice. I'm deducting one point because even during peak weekday hours, there are no rides between 12:30 and 2:00 p.m. Accordingly, the rush for the 2:00 p.m. ride is quite large...if you don't arrive at least half an hour early, you'll have to wait for the next ride.

Very friendly and accommodating! The cable car usually runs every 30 minutes, but if there are several guests waiting, it runs in between. Up there, there are beautiful hiking opportunities for all levels.

Within just under 8 minutes you can take the cable car to an altitude of almost 1750m. The view of the surrounding mountains including the Ortler Group is magnificent. We could see the Three Peaks on the horizon. St. Martin is a rustic place with charm. Hiking trails of various kinds offer something for everyone, and the journey up is definitely recommended.

29/07/2025: We were here for lunch in July 2024. Very friendly service. The food and drinks were served very quickly. The special of the day: beetroot dumplings. The best beetroot dumplings I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious! The salad and schnitzel were also very good. I'll definitely be back.
22/04/2025: Ideal as a cyclist. Pasta plate 10€, 0.4 cola for 3.80 and affogato for 3€.

Santnerpasshütte - Rifugio Passo Santner

25/06/2025: L’estetica dell’edificio ha fatto molto Discutere. Eravamo curiosi di verificare di persona come fosse stato costruito il nuovo rifugio. Dall’esterno ammetto che non eravamo così convinti di sostare qui. In realtà è stata una piacevole scoperta la maxi terrazza con panorama mozzafiato. L’interno è completamente in legno, personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi nella media. Porzioni abbondanti e piatti curati ( anche se la scelta è limitata , non fanno praticamente secondi… solo pasta, panini e taglieri). Nel complesso siamo stati bene, sosta consigliata dopo trekking impegnativo/ferrata.
