The cable car transports the comfortable hiker to the mountain station at 1740m altitude. From here, several tours are possible or the descent back into the valley. Of course, you can also climb the almost 1200m yourself on the most beautiful and varied paths and then let yourself be carried into the valley without hurting your knees. There are plenty of free parking spaces available directly at the cable car, and a valid guest card reduces the fare by one euro per person.

Modern cable car which is also the only way to reach San Martino al Monte since the narrow road can only be used by residents. Various paths start from San Martino for all levels of difficulty. Along the routes there are farms where you can eat and rest. The view of the Venosta Valley and the mountains that surround it is splendid.
