It's not possible to put more stars, damn.... We have been holidaying in Salento for 7 years and Mr. Jameson is a must... it wouldn't be a holiday otherwise! The place that started out with a very "Irish pub" style with wood everywhere (which I absolutely loved), after the pandemic underwent renovations that lightened and refreshed its appearance. The food, however, has remained the same... excellent, plentiful and refined. They offer typical dishes from Salento but with that extra note that makes them excel over every other restaurant. The service is impeccable, with an elegant simplicity that is the envy of the most beautiful tables.... well, if you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for? MOVE!!!! Everyone at "Jameson"!!!

Very nice restaurant with friendly and attentive service. Very good cuisine and therefore recommended. There are only a few seats outside, so it's better to reserve. Air conditioning inside so it was very bearable.

What can I say... My husband had read the excellent reviews and we can only confirm. We went last night with our dog and our almost 4 year old daughter. We ordered their mixed starter, the orecchiette with turnip greens and bacon, my husband an entrecôte and for our daughter a schnitzel with chips. For the wine we asked for advice and they paired the meat with a glass of Negramaro red wine and for me a glass of rosé. A better choice couldn't have been made. The appetizer contained typical delicacies (pittule, aubergine meatballs, courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta and fried), was very beautiful to look at, pleasantly plentiful (enough for 2 people, considering that there were 2 of us plus a child) but above all very good . Needless to say, we brushed it without even taking a photo 🤣. The orecchiette with turnip and bacon was a nice generous portion but above all very good! It made me remember my summers spent here in Salento with my grandparents ❤️ the entrecôte was very good and also plentiful. My daughter shamefully left the schnitzel because she was too full from the starter. But very soft meat and perfectly fried chips! The right bill taking into account the environment, the quality of the dinner and the service. We will definitely be back and recommend it! P.s. we took the cutlet home and ate it today, I confirm it was delicious!

Stand up and applaud the taste, the kindness, the professionalism A place discovered by chance and which made me understand what the true cuisine of Salento means. And if you are surprised by the cost of the cut, 65 euros per kg... taste it first... Well done

A restaurant you absolutely must try. We at Castro went this far just for the reviews and it was totally worth it. We had dinner outside, the environment is quiet, the service is excellent and the food really great. The delicious horse stew! And the first courses are tasty and plentiful. Too bad we couldn't eat dessert :(

The menu is clear. The food and everything else was simply great.
