Jamantè was a highlight of my stay in Polignano a Mare. Beautiful setting above the sea, refined yet relaxed atmosphere, and a kitchen that treats local tradition with real creativity. The sommelier made the evening special with thoughtful and unexpected pairings. A place I would gladly return to.

An exceptional experience at this truly unique restaurant in Polignano. We had a wonderful meal, featuring fresh fish and sophisticated, carefully crafted dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were exceptionally kind and professional. The dishes were beautifully presented, showcasing great attention to detail. However, the wallpaper somewhat detracted from the overall sophistication of the ambiance, and while the food was good, it didn’t quite reach the level of excellence I had anticipated.

The ambience is meticulously maintained down to the last detail. Comfortable, well-spaced tables. The service is discreet, friendly, and unobtrusive. The food, however, leaves little to be desired; the dishes are good, but nothing exceptional. The prices aren't too high, but they're not worthy of a Michelin star.

Jamante – Polignano a Mare
A wonderful discovery in the heart of Polignano! We started with exceptional raw fish: incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The two first courses were interesting, although the broccoli one had a slightly bitter note. The orecchiette we chose for our daughter were simple but truly well-made. The wine selection was excellent: we opted for two recommended glasses, both of which were quality. The dishes were carefully prepared, with authentic flavors and a good value.
The location is beautiful and meticulously crafted, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I'll definitely be back!

Very beautiful location, cared for in every single detail. Well-spaced tables that allow you to converse in peace. We chose the "Tra le tue mani" option that allowed us to choose an appetizer, a first course and a second course à la carte, while the choice of pre-dessert and dessert was left to the chef.
We were lovingly pampered with a fantastic welcome. As an appetizer we tasted Rice, potatoes and mussels with our eyes closed, an incredible reinterpretation of the typical local dish. Unforgettable!!!
Followed by the risotto fcazz e birr which is inspired by the traditional Apulian focaccia... superb! And also the charcoal-grilled umbrina with salted potatoes... delicious!
Pre-dessert a fig with ice cream and for dessert Bari 1930 baked ice cream... an indescribable goodness. We accompanied the dinner with an excellent Apulian rosé Cassandra.
The staff in the dining room were attentive, kind, welcoming and professional.
I recommend living this wonderful experience to appreciate the extraordinary work of a team of young people who, certainly, will have success and deserved recognition over time.

A bit of a strange review but that's because we didn't end up eating there. The restaurant is highly rated, so we really wanted to eat there and we made a reservation in advance. It is located on a fairly busy road and the terrace outside is too, so we chose to eat inside. Before we actually got around to ordering, other guests came in with a dog. It's okay, it's dog-friendly, you know that in advance and the distance to the other tables is large. (although I personally wouldn't do it inside, it's less pleasant for other guests) but this dog couldn't be controlled by the owners! It barked very loudly incessantly and we could hardly hear each other anymore. Unfortunately nothing was done about that so the fun was over for us. We left and had lunch elsewhere. I even offered to pay for the water and the amuse (because we had eaten that and it was tasty!) but that was poured out to us.
