Jamantè In Polignano a mare

In September, my husband and I dined at this Michelin-recommended restaurant. We tried the veal tartare, lasagna, spaghetti, and pork belly. The pork belly was a standout, and their deconstructed take on lasagna was unique and enjoyable. However, I would have preferred the veal tartare to be more finely prepared. A good choice for a fancy meal or if you’re in the area, though not a must-visit.

If I lived closer to this fine restaurant I think I would be a regular visitor. We had dinner in a magical atmosphere with elegant dishes but with strong and persistent flavours. Excellent selection of wines. Impeccable service.

Absolutely delicious and each presentation is art! A true culinary delight.

Tornare “a casa” è a volte doveroso per il sol fatto di dover rispettare e soddisfare le proprie alte esigenze… Accomodarsi, da Jamentè, non è un’esperienza “solo” gastronomica ma un’esperienza totalizzante che coinvolge, ed esalta, i sensi… Vista, olfatto, gusto, vengono letteralmente travolti e coinvolti dall’uso di tecniche mai banali, da ricercati ingredienti impeccabilmente accostati ed assemblati con sapienza, presentati poi, non per ultimo, con assoluta maestrìa. Tutti. Sempre ! Cantina di assoluto alto livello, accoglienza calorosa e molto, molto professionale, servizio impeccabile per risultare, appunto…una gemma. La crescita è continua, costante, evidente, stupefacente. L’obiettivo è oramai lì ad un passo…nel cielo dipinto di blu.

Delightful restaurant on the outskirts of Polignano, very particular cuisine and careful attention both in table service and in the kitchen.

The ambience was professional and romantic. The table setting was gorgeous. Every course had a local touch and was innovative, fresh, and delicious. The five-onion dish really blew our minds! The wine pairings were a great and well-described by the staff. It was a quality meal well worth the price.

Magnificent experience, tasting journey entrusted to the chef, absolutely tasty and varied, from oysters to dessert. The revisited potato and mussel rice is interesting, a first course based on mixed pasta and succulent spider crab. Extremely satisfied and above all full. Important note, impeccable and professional service. I would also add that the bathroom is the most well-kept we have ever seen, attentive to every need, especially for women.

Dinner for two people, starter, main course and dessert for a total of €62 per person, definitely worth doing again!!
