Jacopa In Roma

Jacopa's terrace offers a pleasant view of Rome and is a good place to wait for the sun to set behind the Janiculum. The breeze makes even warm evenings pleasant and the music in the background creates a welcoming atmosphere. At Jacopa you eat well (tasty and delicious food), on have well (natural wines and well-made cocktails, but above all you feel good thanks to the professional but friendly welcome of the staff. We have been there twice in 5 days and I would go back tomorrow.

A pleasant aperitif, far from the chaos of Trastevere with a view of Rome. I recommend trying! They offer a wide choice of drinks to accompany a meat or vegetarian aperitif. I tasted meat, very good!

A beautiful restaurant in a Trastavere hotel. We started with the Alici fritte (Fried anchovies)... superb! Served piping hot. Also the Liver pate with apricot jelly on brioche, which was quite nice to share. These were probably the high points. The Braised meatballs with bone marrow sauce and the Fregola with calamari and shrimp were both nice dishes. We finished with the Duck confit, which was a bit dry. Service was very good.

Definitely not your average hotel restaurant: carefully-researched ingredients that rotate with the seasons and come from ethical producers, an impressive selection of all natural wines, and a menu that while not “traditional Italian”-y is actually a lot more representative of traditional Italian food than the tourist menus. I’m picky when it comes to food, but this nook is yummy and a good value for the products offered. Recommended both for appetizers at the bar (the pulled beef mini bun and fried anchovies are stellar) and for a casual-yet-elegant dinner out in a hidden corner of Trastevere :) (In the summer, enjoy the terrace. In the winter, lounge in the downstairs lobby)

Great food Great service Lovely local food My dad and I have had diner here and it wass everything we wished for. The staff and the food were amazing. We would definitely come back again!

All very good. Desserts at a higher level than average. Very good fregola.
