First time I come to this place, on holiday, but with the cold and detached attitude of someone who has always eaten carefully prepared fish both at home and in starred restaurants, looking at the care and flavor of the fish and the way of serving it. Despite all the negative reviews we read, we decided to go anyway. And, honestly, I don't know what kind of gourmet came here for dinner to complain about the food or the service. In truth these people respect the fish and treat it with love.
Believe me, I eat all over the world for work, and I have rarely seen an environment as homely and thoughtful as this one. Those who cook know what they are doing, they know that cooking fish means doing it as little as possible to leave its flavor and gives the food a familiar flavor as if you were invited to a friend's house, with cooking done by your mother or grandmother. Before reading the reviews of the refined noses, come here with a light heart and let yourself be pampered by this traditionalist and affectionate family. You will not regret it. If you are such an expert in cooking and passionate about programs with chefs and apprentice chefs chatting about cooking, then this is not a place for you. Here there is no chatter, food is treated with respect and its original flavor is enhanced.

The external welcome is not the best, apart from a cheerful family of cats... As for the food, I found it excellent and plentiful, even the helpfulness of the very familiar waiter.

Overall good quality food, the fish of excellent quality and cooked very well.
5 starters: burrida, bottarga cream (excellent), sardines, aubergine cream (excellent), fish with cherry tomatoes and onion and prawns served on carasau bread (not typical but pleasant).
1 First course: malloreddus with courgettes and prawns (excellent!)
Second course: grilled or 2 delicious and well cooked mullets, 2 prawns and an eel plus fried calamari.
Sweets: 2 amaretti, 1 bianchino and 1 donut.
Drinks: water, half a liter of house wine included in the menu and another half was offered to us.
Coffee and digestives. Price €40 per person.
Fish tourism is located in a beautiful place and the location has a lot of potential that should be exploited.

Not good experience. Insufficient price and food ratio. The starters are excellent, a first course with fregola limited in portion, topped here and there with empty crab shells and one or two prawns.
Second course consisting of a fried 5/6 squid pieces and a grilled fish weighing 300/400 grams to be filleted, all per person, luckily I am able to clean a fish otherwise you couldn't eat it.
In short, everything was well cooked, but little and limited, certainly the only valid dish was the appetizer, for the rest it was not said that an encore was allowed; half liter white wine, in a small carafe, but I think that if requested, sparkling or still water would have been given.
The desserts consisted of 5 biscuits, five small pastries, this for two people and a small glass of myrtle, here we were really disappointed, a sebada, even frozen, already changed the tune.
Price and. 40 per person, which we would have gladly paid, but not with what we ate.
We won't be returning.

Ottima esperienza, l'unica cosa , mi aspettavo due assaggi di primi, ma per il resto va benissimo.chiedo scusa per la chiassosa comitiva del nostro tavolo.eravamo così felici di rivederci in un posto così particolare senza troppi fronzoli, buon cibo , cordialità e un po' di poesia

Ottimo ristorante trovato grazie al passaparola! La migliore cena di pesce della vacanza tra antipasti caserecci ottimi (insalata di mare, bottarga, razza al sugo e anguilla al perorino), primo con i gamberi, e grigliata fantastica con branzini, orate e gamberi. Buonissimi anche i dolci tipici e gli amari offerti dalla casa. Propritario gentilissimo e simpatico come il pedonale. Se cercate ottimo cibo e clima casalingo, questo è il posto per voi! Consigliatissimo!
