Anyone vacationing in these apartments will inevitably have to resort to self-service. The prices for a small seafood salad (€16) are quite high. Pizza (Neapolitan style, with its thick crust) costs €10-12.

The food was okay, a bit overpriced for the portion size. The carbonara, in particular, isn't exactly worth the €11. Smaller portions, but there are several dishes to choose from, as a change from the pizza every day :-) For people who want to eat well and a lot, I'd go elsewhere. It's okay for a quick snack.

06/05/2025: Bene per un pranzo da menu fisso. Locale accogliente e curato. Personale gentile. Menu nella media da pranzo per lavoratori anche se, capendo che non sei lì per quello ma come turista, ti propongono un menu alla carta.
15/02/2025: Ho pranzato in questa osteria di ritorno da una mattinata sulle pista da sci. Desideravo un primo e in questo locale c'è davvero l'imbarazzo della scelta, se avessi potuto avrei ordinato almeno 4 primi diversi (carbonara, cacio e pepe, ragù di capriolo, cjarsons, e molto altro ancora). Alle fine ho scelto gli spaghetti alla chitarra cacio e pepe (vedi foto). Superlativi! La persona con me invece ha ordinato le pappardelle al capriolo, anche queste buonissime. Abbiamo preso anche un frico, buonissimo, il vero frico friulano! E le porzioni sono molto generose. Consigliatissimo.

L'osteria DI Delizie E Curiosita'

18/01/2026: A location with a breathtaking view, a well-maintained atmosphere. Homemade, excellently prepared products. Good service. What can I say? If you're visiting the Sanctuary of Castelmonte (UD), this warm and welcoming osteria/bar is worth a visit.
04/12/2025: It had been years since I had been to Castelmonte. I remembered the lady who sold carob beans, fruit, sweets, and gadgets, up the little hill that leads to the church. We noticed this restaurant owned by the lady who sold the carob beans. We had an excellent strudel, and we met the lady who spoke of times gone by and of all the sacrifices she had made. She is still working, still lively, but it's a lovely little place. Bye, Aldo.
