Wandering around Caserta, we decided to stop here, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The place is bright and very clean, with attention to detail and friendly, welcoming staff. Walking in and seeing the freshly baked bread was a real plus. A restaurant and butcher's shop where you can find select meats and tasty side dishes. The dessert is especially noteworthy, it's amazing. When there's passion.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night. The platter was excellent. Beef meatballs and bruschetta were delicious. The sliced ​​beef was probably delicious too, but unfortunately we ordered burgers. The meat was overcooked, the bun fell apart in the middle, and the flavor wasn't great either. Everything might be delicious, but making burgers isn't their art!

I visited Braceria Iovine on a Friday night, and the place was packed, but the atmosphere remained warm and familiar. Quality meats and dishes prepared to perfection: meatballs with fondue, diced sausage, and landrace bacon—really well-executed, flavorful, and not overdone. You can taste the raw ingredients and the work that goes into them. The service was genuine and welcoming, the kind that makes you feel right at home. I've been to this restaurant several times, and as always, it's a guarantee, both for the quality of the food and the courtesy and hospitality of the staff who served us at our table! We certainly had to wait a bit for the meat because the place was very crowded (there were two tables of at least 18-20 people each), but it was worth it. The stew meatballs and the bruschetta with soffritto were very good!

We returned to Braceria Iovine in San Leucio after many years because we had fond memories of it. However, the experience wasn't entirely positive, and I share these observations as a call for improvement. The restaurant's owner came to take our orders and was quite intrusive: even though we had chosen our menu, she repeatedly tried to push us toward her own suggestions, almost to the point of deciding our menu. This attitude is unpleasant and takes away the customer's freedom. We ordered pork and beef. They arrived together, but the pork was visibly dry, likely due to overcooking or being handled differently than the beef. As for the outdoor area, the noise under the awning is truly excessive. The tables create a constant din that makes it difficult to enjoy the meal. It would be helpful to install sound-absorbing panels, which can be used outdoors without any problems. Only after paying did I realize that the pre-bill had included some items we hadn't ordered or consumed. I returned to the owner, who apologized for being distracted and promptly refunded me the overpayment. Once I got to the car, however, I realized that the receipt had never been issued: we left with only the preliminary bill. A detail that leaves a less than transparent impression and should definitely be addressed better. In short, Braceria Iovine has potential, but this visit fell short of expectations. With more attention to the welcome, the cooking, and the bill management, it could once again offer a much more pleasant experience.
