Excellent bar in the center of Catania, excellent desserts, croissants, and drinks. The espresso is sublime. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it.

A two-story restaurant in the heart of the historic center, with the ground floor particularly crowded with tables; when crowded, it doesn't offer customers space and tranquility.
The service isn't always prompt, but the staff, often rude and unwelcoming, makes the difference.
The food, however, stood out; everything was delicious and fresh, from savory to sweet.

The food is always good and the staff are friendly. Insigne on Via Etnea should reconsider its space management because the tables are too close together and there's very little room to move. You always have to be careful not to hit anyone sitting behind or next to you with your chair.

The only place in Catania where you can experience in person koala-style service if you you know what I mean when you’re getting that kind of feeling you’re knocking someone’s home demanding canoli and coffee. Incredible slow, reluctant service, the food is good though.

A simple aperitif, pleasantly served, with an assortment of savory snacks, a glass of prosecco, and a comprehensive Aperol Spritz.
The outdoor setting is a bit shabby, and the service is slow but friendly and polite.
Good value, considering the street it's on.

Devo ammettere di aver sottovalutato questo posto. Avevamo parecchia fame per un pranzo praticamente saltato e siamo entrati nel primo posto che abbiamo incontrato senza tante aspettative. Ho ordinato uno spritz, invece del solito mojito perchè non li trovo sempre fatti bene. Invece la qualità di tutti gli aperitivi presi mi ha fatto capire che avevo perso un'occasione. Apericena a 15 € con rustici e assaggini vari veramente gustosi e abbondanti. Bravissimi.
