Hello, yesterday I consumed, in this bar on Via Etnea, a pistachio and toasted almond granita. Nothing to complain about the quality of the product, I found both flavors to be excellent, I would instead like to point out some things that, if improved, could change the general evaluation. The granita, which was served to me at the table, was slightly melted as well as in a rather small quantity. Considering the total cost, I think the quantity of granita inside the cup could be increased and it could be served a little more compact. Along with the granitas, however, I was able to enjoy excellent brioches and an excellent coffee.

Ordered “Affogato” in Sicilian way; expresso with coffee granita and Cioccolato granita. Service was prompt and perfect. Soon after, we order a second cup of EXPRESSO with almond granita to fulfill my curiosity of its taste. It’s even better than the first one! Don’t forget to ask for free water.

😋PISTACHIO GRANITA TOP!!!😋
I tried the pistachio granita with brioche col tuppo (€4.50 all) and I have to say that both the quality of the pistachio and the quality of the brioche dough are really excellent. Among other things, the granita also contained some small pieces of pistachio, which flavored the palate with every spoonful. Worth repeating🤤
The bar has seating both outside, on the ground floor, and on the second floor indoors. Personally, I found the room on the second floor very peaceful and quiet, great for reading (also because it tends to be empty). I like it!
I didn't expect to find such a good and quiet pistachio so easily, well done!!

My first cappuccino in Catania was at this cafe; it was delicious. I also had ice cream at another time, which was heavenly.
I recommend the flavors: Dubai chocolate and pistachio cremino.
The staff is young and friendly, and Martina is wonderful.
It's conveniently located on Catania's main street.

Devo ammettere di aver sottovalutato questo posto. Avevamo parecchia fame per un pranzo praticamente saltato e siamo entrati nel primo posto che abbiamo incontrato senza tante aspettative. Ho ordinato uno spritz, invece del solito mojito perchè non li trovo sempre fatti bene. Invece la qualità di tutti gli aperitivi presi mi ha fatto capire che avevo perso un'occasione. Apericena a 15 € con rustici e assaggini vari veramente gustosi e abbondanti. Bravissimi.

Uno dei pochi caffè aperto il primo Gennaio, purtroppo infatti anche in pieno passeggio centrale di CT molti posti risultavano chiusi: poco male, da Insigne abbiamo trovato offerte varie e di buona qualità con servizio gentile e prezzi adeguati.
