Too bad! Good food, but the distance between tables was ridiculous, to say the least (despite having booked several days in advance).
The local music was blasting, but it was questionably entertaining.
The worst part was the horrifying bathroom! They closed the men's one out of desperation, so we all went to the women's one, skating over our pee. Not even a portable toilet was this disgusting. It's true that rude customers are to blame, but you can't work three lunch shifts, notice that the bathrooms are in terrible condition by 1 PM, and not do anything about it!

One of the Trastevere places with no lights, no signs, no photos of dishes, that go unnoticed but where, curiously, you will only find locals. Restaurant serving authentic Roman cuisine.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend who had been there on a previous trip to Rome.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you immediately feel at home in a family-friendly atmosphere.
The carbonara is literally WORLD-CLASS, but their tiramisu (a round, not a spoonful) is also a must-try; we absolutely had to ask for seconds.
Compliments to all the staff.
We'll definitely be back.

We came here looking for restaurants in the area that weren't necessarily the "famous" ones in Trastevere.
It seemed more like a locals restaurant and finally not a tourist trap. The service was great, large portions, great pasta and fair prices!

The best dinner in Rome, without a doubt. Spectacular carbonara and unbeatable oxtail. An essential stop on your trip to Rome. The service is very friendly; you can feel the tradition of a truly authentic restaurant that takes traditional food to a whole new level. An unforgettable experience! 👌

We ordered the artichoke as a starter and Gricia and Carbonara for dinner. The pasta was very good, especially the carbonara, but unless you're a Viking, make sure you order the small portion. The house wine, served by the quarter or half in jugs, is perfect with the pasta. You'll need it because it seems they usually take quite a while to bring out the pasta and main courses, so it keeps you occupied (it's practically free in my opinion). Excellent value for money in Trastevere, and it was packed with Italians.
