Good service and a good place to have breakfast

Following a walking tour of Dorsoduro our guide advised us to head to Campo Santa Margerita for food. Was walking by this place, which seemed lively and busy. Lots of locals chilling but also workers/students in and out for meal/pasta of the day. Ordered pomodoro, cabonara pasta and salad. All good and tasty portions, for the price. Coffee was spot on. Service was attentive when required and for how busy the place was. Bonus if you like 80s music. Good local atmosphere and relaxed vibe.

Hard to beat their Hausbrandt cappuccinos in the morning! Or their sandwiches at lunchtime.

A wonderful place in a stunning location. The service is perfect, a place to unwind after a Venetian tour and be pampered a little. Moreover, the place always hosts works by amateur artists who brighten up the space by supporting projects.

It's a great place to sit outside and enjoy good food and great service. It's a relaxed atmosphere in front of Campo Santa Margherita. Highly recommended.

We came to this café for breakfast every day because our B&B provided meal vouchers. Most of the customers here are locals

We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast every morning during our four days in Venice. A slice of homemade cake accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice or coffee: what more could you ask for to start the day off right? And in nice weather, you can sit outside.
