A fabulous dinner, full of flavors and culinary discoveries. The orange ravioli are to die for and go divinely with the Nobile di Montepulciano!!!

Amazing! We had lunch after our arrival in Florence. Very cosy, authentic Italian restaurant. We love the interior. Very friendly service by everybody, and the food was heavenly. Highly recommended, we will definitely return next time in Florence.

Awesome in every detail possible. Food was incredible cooked to perfection by clearly someone who loves to cook, service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt like we were teleported to a different era. Definitely recommend it

very overwhelming environment, wine tapped directly from their excellent quality barrels. Menu full of choice that revisits the dishes of Tuscan cuisine, recommended!!👍🏽

I was a guest at this restaurant for dinner. I tasted the tapas as recommended by the waiter. I was amazed by the quality of the products. I recommend the crouton with speck and figs

I have had the pleasure of dining at Il Vivandiere on multiple occasions and each time it just gets better! The elevated Tuscan cuisine is absolutely divine, with each dish showcasing rich flavors and exquisite presentation. Locale molto carino e accogliente in centro a Firenze. Abbiamo ordinato due primi: pici al ragù toscano e tagliatelle al cinghiale. Primi molto molto buoni. Le tagliatelle al cinghiale soprattutto erano spettacolari. Molto simpatici e professionali i camerieri

Throughout my trip, I wanted to experience an authentic Italian lunch. This spot was recommended by our tour guide and we were NOT disappointed. It was perfect. The ambience was cozy and down to earth. The staff were a little cool to start but that changed quickly once we were settled. We told our lovely waitress that we wanted a nice bottle of Chiani and she recommended Baruffo which was lovely. We then ordered a couple of tapas and a charcuterie board to share. It was a perfect luncheon and we were able to happily take our time and enjoy the meal, the wine and the atmosphere. One highlight, which I recommend is the Fiori di Zucca Fritti Ripieni di Ricotta - Fried pumpkin flowers stuffed with lemon & ricotta, paired with anchovy sauce. It was absolutely amazing!!!!! I wish this place was near my home. An absolute must do.

27/08/2024: I made a dinner reservation and visited this restaurant, but I regretted not ordering bruschetta for just a small lunch. This is because the steak was really delicious, but I was already full and had the bruschetta as an appetizer, so I could only eat a few pieces 😭 I ordered a T-bone with just the sirloin attached (costata), and it was tender, meaty, and one of the best steaks of my life. He showed me how to eat it by pouring olive oil and salt on it, and it tasted really good. Every time I eat steak at other restaurants in Florence, I think of this restaurant 🥺 However, it was my first time trying bruschetta and I was a bit disappointed. In particular, the one with the truffle on top had a jelly-like texture that seemed a bit nauseating, and the one with chicken liver was the best, but the visuals were a bit... 😅 I really regret not having filled my stomach with this and eating more meat. I don't recommend the bruschetta. But be sure to eat the T-bone steak!!! It was a bit humid and hot inside the restaurant. Bring a hand fan in the summer!
