Delicious place for a quick lunch. Very good and plentiful platter of cold cuts and cheeses. Very tasty pici all'aglione and ragù di cinta senese. Extremely kind and attentive staff. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.

This is a charming but very busy establishment. I daresay they've been around for a while. Many passersby stop to say hello and to chat. It seems there's little point in a relative stranger – although he may be paying you to bring him food and drink – trying to begin even a short conversation with the restaurant owner or waitstaff. They'll likely just blow you off, bring your whatever to the table, and carry on their conversation with those passersby. Also, moments after you pay your bill, you might walk back in the door and ask the waiter if he still has your bottle of water – the one that you paid for – and he'll just look at you and actually say, "Your water?!?" as if not understanding that, if you pay for a thing, you have a right to claim ownership. That waiter may then thrust a new, full bottle of water at you before waving you away and out the door, without giving you any opportunity to say anything more. Did he piss me off? You bet. Was he rude? You bet. I thought he was French! So, the food may be good, I'd have to think about it before I can send someone there based on my recommendation.

Excellent value for money, generous portions of food and punctual and precise service

A few steps from the entrance of Porta Camollia, a place that makes me feel at home every time, as well as a must to go every time I return to Siena. Very kind, friendly and friendly staff. The portions are generous in size and are very good. Special mention for the cured meats and the pici with white ragù of Cinta Senese. It is also one of the few places where you can eat real pici all'aglione. It also has a good variety of wines. The price is excellent, lower than the average of the rest of the places in the center. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the area.

100% positive experience. Characteristic place with friendly, polite and helpful staff. Dinner was excellent. The price is worth it with the quality of the products. I recommend it to everyone. This evening, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici broccoli and sausage and cantucci with vin santo.
