A truly wonderful experience at Vicoletto. Everything was exceptional, especially the mojito panna cotta... which I'd change the name to.

We had a wonderful dinner here. Friendly waiters and fun menu. We had mixed fish platter as antipasti and were pleasantly surprised by the different kinds of fish, pickled, smoked and deep fried. Pasta was freshly made. I wasn’t sure about the rabbit rolls, but that’s could be because I haven’t had rabbit before. The mojito panna cotta was the perfect dessert to end the night - the mojito gelatine made it very refreshing. The couple next to us told us they came back after dining here 6 years ago!

Best oft the best on Lago Maggiore and the best restaurant in Stresa by far. Very friendly stuff with excellent service in a classic Italian atmosphere. The food was extraordinary good. Couldn’t say anything bad. This restaurant is worth every penny. I definitely come back when I’m visiting Lago Maggiore again. Thank you il Vicoletto!

A very good time in a discreet location. The only problem at the moment was a neighbor clearing brush between 12 and 1 p.m. No luck. This didn't detract from the service or the culinary pleasure. A fish hors d'oeuvre as a starter and sea bream fillets afterward. Thank you. Great!

Taverna Brigantia

16/10/2025: A charming place, a true tavern with a unique style, a must-see if you're a biker, a foodie, or a beer lover. I highly recommend this place.
31/05/2025: Pleasant discovery, I was convinced by some photos of the place seen in other reviews, and it is exactly the place that I like, the beautiful tavern that makes you feel at home. The food was excellent, we ate some very good hamburgers with really good potatoes. Very kind, patient, polite staff. We also chatted with the owner and he was very helpful in advising us on what to see in the surrounding area. I will definitely go back.

04/10/2025: Five stars for excellence. Four for satisfaction. Local tasting menu. Appetizer: Salted beef carpaccio with arugula and smoked ricotta. First course: Strangolapreti with butter and sage and Trentingrana cheese. Second course: Stewed venison bites with Storo polenta. Dessert: Lele strudel with fresh cream. Water, glass of wine, coffee €38. 4* well deserved.
