Family-run restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, great value for money. I recommend trying the traditional croxetti with walnut sauce.

The staff are wonderful. We always come to visit them when we pass by 100 croci. The food is homemade and excellent. And there is always our friend Lucky who we are always happy to see and say hello to. Thanks Alex Debby

For lunch we decided to stop here and we were pleasantly surprised by the impeccable service, the typical Ligurian cuisine and the fact that we had lunch outside in the open air on a beautiful sunny day. The Ligurian rabbit was amazing. Thanks to “Il Vero”. Antonella

If you pass through Varese Ligure you have to stop in this typical local restaurant. Good everything, excellent flavors of the Ligurian hinterland

30/06/2025: Very special location. In summer with the cool of the Magra river it gives its best. High class restaurant with a truly relaxing view. Excellent service, adequate dishes, romantic view.
15/06/2025: Beautiful location, super ventilated. The only flaw was the service that they didn't even serve the cake to the bride and groom, prices that rise because obviously behind the wedding there is a crazy business but to also charge for the table linen leaves me speechless, with €150 pp that is not included is scandalous, as well as when you find yourself paying and they tell you that the price does not include VAT. Good food and right portions in terms of quantity.

28/04/2025: Perfetto per una serata informale in un locale gradevolissimo. Cucina con chef eccellente e personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Cibo ottimo.
23/04/2025: Accueil correct, salle sympa, service impeccable mais déception pour le repas. Le plat de pates est bon et copieux mais 1/2 filet de poisson avec une petite poignée d' haricots verts sans aucune préparation , cela fait un peu léger pour un déjeuner, le dessert correct sans plus. Vous ne sortez pas ballonné de votre repas et vous pouvez visiter tranquillement Monterosso. Grosse Déception.
