Il Veneziano - caffetteria, cicchetteria, cocktail bar In Este

A lovely venue right near the clock tower, with a conveniently located terrace overlooking the square. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the cocktail menu is extensive. The only downside is the food; aside from the signature cicchetti, they don't have a kitchen, so other options, even simple platters, aren't available. So if you're looking for an "aperitivo" (dinner aperitivo), as is the custom in Piedmont, this isn't the place for you. It's excellent for a pre-dinner drink, though.
