03/08/2025: I confess I was a bit skeptical about this restaurant, located across from the entrance to Villa d'Este. I thought it was the usual tourist-oriented establishment, where they try to adapt their dishes to their clientele's tastes. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised because I was able to enjoy traditional Roman cuisine, impeccably cooked and in generous portions. The wait times were reasonable, considering that all dishes are freshly prepared and nothing is pre-cooked. The service staff was very courteous, explaining the dishes and advising us on their menus based on our needs. The prices are decidedly reasonable, especially considering the restaurant's location. My experience was definitely positive, and I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.
