Helt fantastisk sted. Er lækreste vine og den skønneste mad. De lavede de deres egen boblende vin, som vi blev nødt til at smage. Da vi bad dem lave "alle de bedste retter", tog de os på ordet. Det blev en lang kærlighedserklæring til havet: muslinger, laks, friturede fiskekugler (et undervurderet koncept), bruschetta med torsk, marinerede sardiner og blækspruttesalat. Hovedretten var en hel, friskfanget fisk. Til dessert fik vi alt, hvad de kunne finde i køkkenets søde afdeling: cheesecake, tiramisu og en lokal kage med pinjekerner med dertilhørende limoncello. We were there on Sunday 6 July 2025. The 2 of us had 2 mixed seafood appetizers and 2 penne alla pescatora. All the appetizer elements were small delights, one better than the other. The first was delicious with lots of fish and a nice tasty dressing. The service was impeccable and we had the opportunity to talk amicably with the owner with whom we spoke about Marina di Pisa, the historic premises and the history of the Veliero itself. The environment is welcoming, tidy, clean and with wooden furniture and a wooden roof that, for those who lived in the 80s/90s, is a pleasant dive into the past. However, there are many tables outdoors too. The price is adequate for the quality of the dishes. I recommend it with my eyes closed.

Restaurant to absolutely avoid. We entered at 8:50 pm and had the appetizer at 10:20 pm after having requested it... We had to cancel the order of the other courses due to the unknown timing... we left the restaurant hungry.... Never again!!!

Today on Easter day we came to the Veliero for lunch. Mrs. Katia and her daughter were kind as were all the staff. The food, all based on fish, starting from the starter, the two first courses and the fried food, was truly excellent. The environment is familiar. I recommend it.

Birthday lunch today,
been other times, I spag. Scoglio: excellent harmonious dish with prawns and squid, mussels and fresh lupins, others taken first courses fishermen, spag.Tarantina very satisfied; side dish with chips and greens. fried, mixed fried shrimp and squid main course: abundant, perfect for cooking, fresh and non-oily oil; various other desserts, I have a discreet tiramisu; good coffee (rare!). Good service, welcoming family atmosphere, the characteristic dated restaurant,
(titles u/d, small inconvenient in the entrance, should be redone in another location, even external).
A la carte menu price, average: (~35 € each); we will certainly return: everyone is satisfied!
