Il Veliero In Malonno

We stopped on a Sunday morning for an aperitif, 10 people, clean and spacious place inside, very friendly and helpful staff, the platter of cold cuts and cheeses that accompanied our aperitifs was very welcome. We will return even if this is not the first time that I have stopped at the Veliero because I know that the place is worth it.

Incredibly good pizza, just a little overcooked last time. However, I want to say that upon my observation the manager seemed very sorry, apologizing repeatedly and not wanting me to pay for mine despite my willingness to pay it anyway, good honest man and for this he deserves all my respect. Every time I pass by I will be happy, with my wife, to eat their exceptional pizza. More than recommended

As a pizza lover traveling across Europe, I’m always searching for hidden gems. One late evening, on my way to the mountains for skiing, I stumbled upon a modest looking spot. I wasn’t even hungry, but something about it made me turn back—and the moment I stepped inside, I knew I’d made the right choice. The place was spotless, inviting, and offered a great selection of drinks. The friendly waitress and the aroma of fresh pizza sealed the deal. Watching the pizzaiolo craft ultrathin dough with precision, I knew this was going to be special. The diverse menu tempted me to order three pizzas: Bresaola, Margherita (with extra cheese), and Diavola (swapping anchovies for double salami—though next time, I’ll try them). The pizzas were perfectly packed, but I didn’t get to them until later tonight. Even reheated , they were exceptional, everything from the dough to the toppings was pure perfection. Easily a 9.9/10. These pizzas are on another level, like a Swiss watch: no flashy marketing, just flawless quality. My friends loved it so much they begged for the location (I barely escaped by promising to tell them later). Sadly, I only snapped a few photos of the last slices, but trust me, this pizza is unforgettable. Paired with spicy oil, fresh chili, a glass of Ripasso, and finished with Fernet Branca, it was an experience to savor. Thank you to the amazing team behind this masterpiece, I’ll be back for sure, I have to try them fresh out of the oven!

Beautiful place to have a good aperitif. Definitely recommended. Next time I'll stop for the pesto pizza 🙂

Come sempre il Veliero non smentisce mai OTTIMA PIZZA un forte complimenti ai gestori, solitamente ci fermiamo la sera in quest’occasione era per il pranzo

Here we ate the best pizza on our trip with carpacchio, buffalo mozzarella and rocket. And we got it even though it was long past lunchtime. Pasta dishes are also available at regular times. The service was very friendly and the price-performance ratio was also good. Parking spaces are directly in front of the house. Highly recommended.

Piccolo bar ampliato a pizzeria (con anche insalatone e qualche piatto freddo). Bellissimo balcone sulla valle, purtroppo un po' stretto (uno di noi era in sedia a rotelle e non abbiamo potuto accedervi). Veranda coperta e aperta che permette di mangiare fuori senza essere proprio sulla statale del Tonale. Pizza davvero buona e digeribile. Personale cortese, tempi rapidi. Una nota: lavandino nel bagno clienti da vedere (però non spoilero)!
