Il Vecchio Mulino In Lubriano

Il vecchio mulino e’ sempre una garanzia. Chiamato all’ultimo dopo un tentativo alla troppa rumorosa sagra di Castiglione, abbiamo trovato posto e in terrazza. Coniglio in porchetta (col finocchietto) e fagioli alla bagnorese ottimi. Tagliata di rara tenerezza e bontà. Presenti anche i porcini con le patate arrosto, pure buoni. Vini locali in lista (abbiamo preso un buon sangiovese di Titignano). Conto giusto e vista spettacolare.

We stayed two nights in the area and had the pleasure of both having lunch and dinner here. On Friday after almost 500 km on the bike in 38° degrees we were cordially welcomed by Mauro. Classic simple and clean trattoria with a little corner of paradise at the back with spectacular views of Civita. Crostini with genuine ingredients, tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms and rabbit rolls, stuffed with potatoes, fennel and olives... What can I say, a riot of excellently cooked flavours. On Saturday evening before returning, dinner on the terrace starting from the house appetizer which included a generous sampling of tripe in salad, tomato soup, crostini, cold cuts and local cheeses... I then treated myself to the pappardelle with wild boar and the chicken with peppers..... You can taste the passion in those who believe that offering typical local traditional dishes is still something worth passing on with love and dedication. Believe me it's worth it!!! THANK YOU

Ottimo ristorante con spettacolare vista sulla valle dei calanchi e su Civita di Bagnoregio. Ottimi anche i piatti io ho gradito molto i panciotti con fave e pecorino. Prezzi onesti.

During a motorbike tour, we stopped at this restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. Honest prices, excellent service, everyone is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back to find other dishes.
