A quaint and welcoming restaurant in the heart of Sassari, serving traditional cuisine and excellent ingredients at an excellent price. At the end of the evening, I recommend a tour of the basement where you can see the rooms of the old mill (hence the restaurant's name). The service is friendly and attentive.

The ambience is fantastic. The room is flavoured with art and photos from former Musicans which have performed here. Outstanding italien food. Which extends over pizza. Prices are in generell cheap in sazzari.

Nice place, it is some kind of “jazz loving circle” where I guess during the weekend they play jazz. We visited on a Friday though. The food was quite good, perhaps not huge portions but we did not leave hungry. A lot of stuff was locally sourced, including wine (good house wine in fact) and essentially organic! Nice staff and ambience. Definitely coming back if in Sassari.

19/08/2025: We went because it was recommended. The pasta dishes are 280g. Fresh pasta, generous portions, and excellent quality. Very friendly staff and low prices. Highly recommended.
