Locale situato in un pezzo di storia di Sassari, è infatti visitabile il vecchio mulino che era ospitato nello stabile. Anche sede di un jazz a club. Cucina sarda ottima, servizio impeccabile, gentilezza dei proprietari da far invidia…insomma da tornare!

I had dinner last night with a friend... the location is very beautiful with attention to the smallest details with mezzanines that make the difference. The food is uniquely delicious, all delicious and cooked with true love. The waitress who served us was She was very friendly, nice but above all professional in advising us what to take since it was the first time. I will definitely return and I highly recommend everyone to go and enjoy the simplicity of this cuisine. Rating 10

We had lunch with them for the first time today with my husband and we were positively impressed by their kindness, cheerfulness and professionalism. Even though we hadn't booked, they immediately found a table for us, demonstrating an excellent customer approach.
The 10/10 menu, unique and authentic flavors with a touch of modernity. Really tasty first, second and dessert courses. They also described the history of the place and indicated that in the basement which we then visited, we could find the remains of the old oil mill, beautiful! The bottom line: excellent value for money. We will definitely be back!

Discovered by pure chance, in the historic center of Sassari, not far from convenient parking and a stone's throw from the Cathedral.
Excellent ingredients, well assembled, with attention to the Sardinian culinary tradition, excellent environment, excellent jazz music in the background.
Professional staff, discreet but above all with a unique courtesy.
Very kind property.
A visit to the underground rooms is recommended, a dive into history, into the world of ancient underground work, now forgotten, but fortunately still valorised here.
An excellent discovery. Highly recommended.

What can I say? We had chosen this place due to the excellent reviews and the early evening opening (6.30pm). We arrived 10 minutes early and the very kind owner made us sit while they were setting the table. Very welcoming to the children who were given colored plastic plates and cups and forks that fit little hands!
We ordered various first courses and pizzas, all delicious. The best meal I had in Sardinia so far. Absolutely try the spaghetti with bottarga, the fregola and the Rustica pizza! Thank you very much and have a well-deserved holiday!

Once again the Vecchio Mulino confirms itself as a restaurant of excellence in the heart of Sassari.
Courteous but never intrusive service, amazing tasting menu and reasonable price, despite the quality and abundance of the dishes, always original and never banal.
We were having dinner with a non-Sardinian guest, who was also really impressed by the food on offer.

Une belle salle voûtée, des plats savoureux et une addition plus que raisonnable (60 euros pour quatre personnes, boissons et couverts compris, la moins chère chere de notre séjour en Sardaigne et de loin !). On comprend parfaitement pourquoi il y a toujours la queue pour entrer ! A noter que le restaurant prend des réservations.
