First restaurant we tried in Sardinia and one of the best of the trip!

Food in general very delicious, with the typical island touch, which is curious if you are not used to it, with touches of lime and mint but pleasant to the taste. I recommend the site. We give it a 4 because it is true that it is not the food we usually eat and it is strange. The service of the waitresses was exquisite.

Une belle salle voûtée, des plats savoureux et une addition plus que raisonnable (60 euros pour quatre personnes, boissons et couverts compris, la moins chère chere de notre séjour en Sardaigne et de loin !). On comprend parfaitement pourquoi il y a toujours la queue pour entrer ! A noter que le restaurant prend des réservations.

We booked a 3-day visit through Kirker Travel to attend a wedding at Villa Le Bolli. We stayed at Il Vecchio Mulino Toscana, a beautiful 19th century mill converted into five apartments, each with their own private outside terrace, all set within a large natural garden with swimming pool. On our arrival we were met by a lovely lady, Ilaria, who showed us around the accommodation and its lovely gardens ... and, in addition, was extremely helpful. Not knowing where to shop for basic food provisions, Ilaria came to our rescue, she said jump in the car I'll take you to the nearest shop, which was located in a nearby hamlet, Belfonte. It was the only shop there but was able to supply all our basic needs: milk, bread, eggs, wine, etc. Our next problem, that of finding transportation to and from the wedding venue some 5kms away, was also resolved by Ilaria, she kindly called a friend, Alessandro, who lived in Radicondoli, who was more than happy to help out for a small very reasonable fee for each of the two days we needed to attend the celebrations. A major problem solved. He was just great, always on time both taking and on return. The wedding itself was just amazing. A big thank you to both Ilaria and Alessandro for their help in making our first visit to Tuscany so welcoming, memories we will cherish forever.
