Il Trullo In Torino

I took my parents to this restaurant after going there in July with friends, to help them rediscover the flavors of their tradition. They were satisfied, and so was I. I've been back and will continue to be back. 😊

I honestly have no complaints about the appetizers and first courses. The service was very poor. We had to ask for water after almost 20 minutes of being at the table. We had three different first courses for seven people, and they arrived within 10 minutes of each other (the last ones started eating over 20 minutes later). The holiday isn't really an excuse, because a restaurant can't afford to be half-serviced to function properly. The same goes for the desserts, with the excuse that the cheesecake (which wasn't a cheesecake but a cream cheese dessert with crumbled biscuits on top, and it was also warm) was made on-site. One wine list for the entire place (with the insistence on listing them verbally, not considering that you'd also like to know the price before purchasing) and without asking if anyone wanted anything else to drink. Honestly: it's a shame because the first courses were really good and I can't complain about rudeness on anyone's part, but in all honesty, I wouldn't go back because it all seemed very improvised.

A true corner of Puglia in the heart of Turin! We visited Trullo with a large group of friends and had a truly positive experience: we tried the all-you-can-eat Puccia Salentina, and it was simply delicious! Fragrant dough, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors made us feel like we were on vacation, even if it was just for one evening. A special shout-out to the woman who served us: Sara, cheerful, kind, and incredibly welcoming, handled our large group with a smile and a rare level of helpfulness. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for those who love authentic Apulian cuisine and a warm atmosphere.
