IL Tornabuoni Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt In Firenze

After eight nights traveling throughout Italy and dining at many highly rated restaurants, our experience at the Butterfly Lounge rooftop at IL Tornabuoni Hotel in Florence was, without question, the highlight of our trip. We arrived for cocktails and a light dinner, ordering a Margherita pizza, a tuna dish, and cocktails including an Old Fashioned and a Margarita. Every item that arrived at our table exceeded expectations. The pizza was perfectly balanced—crisp, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The tuna dish was simply outstanding and among the best we have ever had. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were exceptional. What made the evening even more memorable was the incredible hospitality. Our server, Khady, provided attentive, warm, and professional service throughout the evening. His manager, Miro, was equally welcoming and ensured that every aspect of our experience was flawless. Toward the end of the evening, we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Simone, who personally brought one of the dishes to our table. He was an absolute gentleman. We enjoyed speaking with him, exchanging culinary ideas and recipes, and learning more about his passion for food. It was clear that his talent and dedication are reflected in every dish that leaves the kitchen. Congratulations to IL Tornabuoni Hotel for assembling such an exceptional team. From the kitchen to the service staff, every person contributed to an unforgettable dining experience. We came expecting a pleasant rooftop dinner and left having enjoyed what was, in our opinion, the best meal of our entire trip to Italy. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Florence.
