The dishes are good, the raw materials are excellent. Formal but not excessively affected environment. Perhaps the dishes lack that wow factor, but certainly an excellent dinner. It's a shame we couldn't have the tasting menu, which is served to the entire table and not to a single guest.

Modernity and tradition come together in a perfect union, a very bright and well-managed place.

Ogni piatto è una sorpresa, ogni piatto crea una curiosità infinita, ogni piatto racconta in modo forte una personalità mai banale e questo purtroppo non succede sempre. Ci sono piatti che ahimè non ci fanno mai pensare a chi li cucina, ma si limitano a "dire" solo di sé stessi, ma questo a chi assapora per il gusto di fare un'esperienza e non di nutrirsi non sempre basta. Ciò che ho amato sono stati i contrasti sempre meravigliosamente bilanciati. Tutto è un contrasto voluto, gli odori, i sapori, i colori. Ho avuto il piacere proprio ieri sera di provare il nuovo menù della stagione e che dire, eccellente. Vorrei parlare anche dell'ambiente, tutto meravigliosamente lineare, perfetto per fare da cornice a quei piatti e ceramiche uniche. Perché anche nella scelta dei servizi e nella mise en place sono stati impeccabili. Quindi un esperienza sensoriale DAVVERO a 360°. Imperdibile il tagliolino all’uovo mantecato al burro vaniglia con caviale. Che dire. Una bellissima serata, un orgoglio per Siracusa. Consigliato. Grazie Chef.

This is a fine dining restaurant with that has both Sicilian and foreign cuisines influence. It is located outside of Ortigia but pretty close and easy to walk to. The interior is very spacious, with large windows and slightly industrial style. Presentation of food is definitely the highlight. We had the surprise tasting menu that consisted of stuff courses and every meal looked like art. Taste was also very good. My personal favorites were scallops, and two tartar (beef and cod). The servers speak very good English and provide good explanations. The bartender deserves a special mention. He mixed very interesting drinks for us (mostly twists on classical cocktails) that were prepared in front of us. The restaurant is definitely on the pricey side, especially for Syracuse. We paid 300 EUR for a couple (tasting menu and two drinks each). I'd say it is worth it.

My husband organized my bday dinner here. We had the 6-course tasting menu for 120 a person, without alcoholic drinks. Food presentation is a true art and flavors were excellent. Despite saying I don’t like tuna I got a tuna butter… well… it was good for someone who likes that taste. The scallops were my favorite, perfectly cooked and flavor was divine. Our cocktails were made in front of us at the bar wagon, in accordance to the chefs recommendations. Staff speaks perfect English, and accommodated dietary preferences. Unfortunately they didn’t read the comment in the reservation that it was a birthday so I lacked the candle on my dessert - make sure to remind the waitress upon your arrival if you want sth special during your dinner with them. Also be sure to bring their tip in cash!

Cucina sofisticata, eccellente. Abbiamo degustato una crema di patate con formaggio e tartufo, spaghetti con gamberi, crema di carote e aglio nero, pancia di maialino, tortino con cremoso e mango…eccezionale! Pane fatto in caso, antipasto di benvenuto e pre dessert!

Place in a historic, welcoming, sober building. Very professional and welcoming staff. Excellent cuisine with unusual but very interesting proposals, the result of research and the use of quality products. The selection of wines offered is decent. Privacy could be improved, half-height curtains on the windows facing the outside would be appreciated.
