Locale caratteristico.
Il titolare che ci ha accolto ha tenuto a precisare che eravamo in una trattoria. Si inizia con una carrellata di ottimi antipasti, al termine dei quali eravamo già sazi. Ci siamo spunti comunque fino ai primi che nonostante la nostra buona volontà non siamo riusciti a terminare per l'abbondanza delle porzioni.
Ottima esperienza per gustare i piatti tradizionali locali.
Valore aggiunto il prezzo modico.

If you are looking for excellent typical Caserta cuisine, look no further than IL TIGLIO. On holiday from Bari, we discovered this fantastic trattoria. Their menu is a culinary masterpiece, offering typical dishes of the Caserta tradition expertly prepared by Mr. Roberto and his staff. All kind and polite, they put their customers at ease. We went to IL TIGLIO on Saturday for dinner and on Sunday for lunch and we were thrilled. The prices are really low and the quality is high. It is truly an unmissable destination for all food lovers.

Cena ottima ed abbondante, abbiamo assaggiato una serie di antipasti preparati con formaggi locali e verdure cucinate in vario modo tra cui le fantastiche melanzane alla parmigiana, a seguire abbiamo finalmente provato la pasta con patate e provola, che dire....me la sogno ancora la notte e per finire un ottimo maialino nero casertano alla brace, veramente buonissimo anche il vino bianco di produzione artigianale, gentilissimi i titolari, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Typical Campania place immersed in old Caserta. The very kind owners bring them home-made dishes without a fixed menu so they can taste a bit of everything. I recommend trusting the owner...everything is exceptional...from the caponata-type vegetables with an exquisite flavour, to the homemade pasta, potatoes and provola cheese, to the amazing suckling pig....in short, combined with the truly excellent price for the quality, it is a highly recommended place and to keep in mind if you were to return. Compliments!!
