Excellent location in the Rieti Sabina area. Locally sourced food and family-style cooking. Excellent grilled meats and a wide variety of traditional local first courses. A place to visit and enjoy in the quiet of the Sabina hills.

Warm welcome, excellent food and advice about what to order. Perfect portion sizes. I especially loved the fettuccine al boscaiolo and the coniglio but everything including the dolci was great. Very picturesque setting too, with good outdoor shade.

We often come to this excellent restaurant serving typical Sabine cuisine. I also recommend it for vegetarians. The terebinth appetizer, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, is breathtaking, and especially the homemade stringozzi and fregnacce. The chef is fantastic.

Excellent quality, wonderful staff! Must try, generous first courses, vegetables from their garden. Wide variety of appetizers. Outdoor space with a beautiful sunset view.

01/01/2026: The food was great and the Staff was very nice. Everyone was full and the price was very affordable. The Owner made sure we were well and took a shot limonchello with us at the end of our meal. We were the only tourists there and were very welcome. Overall a great experience and well worth the cheap price.
26/12/2025: Inn/tavern along the Salaria Christmas 2025...2 pm...where to eat? Everything closed. Claudio saved us...centurion of Rome from the Locanda Le Fonti Di Cotilia. As if by magic, a plate of appetizers arrives at the table, then the house specialties...handmade pasta with various sauces...mouth-watering...lamb and lamb with sautéed vegetables. To finish, the shortcrust pastry tarts with must and cherry, then the honey and walnut coete...EVERYTHING SUBLIME.
