Il Tempio di Minerva In Roma

This place has remained in my heart ever since I tasted its delicacies three years ago. I finally got to return to Rome, and this was my first visit. It's always top-notch in everything, just as I remembered, and the staff is truly courteous. I especially thank Beatrice for her professionalism and kindness.... I'm almost tempted to go back tomorrow!!! 😋

We ate very well on the terrace. The pasta was delicious. I really liked the carbonara and the one with tomato and basil, simpler but very delicious. We also tried the rice croquettes, which we loved, and the amatriciana meatballs. The latter were very tasty and worth trying. The service was very good.

Welcoming, kind, and helpful. They only delayed bringing one dish, and out of respect, they reduced the final price and even offered us a lemon sorbet. Recommended.

I was absolutely enchanted by my experience at the Tempio di Minerva restaurant in Rome! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a truly special place. The setting was romantic and traditional. The owner, Simone, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel at home! The food was simply delicious. The main courses were the pasta dishes, especially the carbonara and a revisited garlic, oil, and chili pepper dish. Spectacular! The service was impeccable. The staff ensured our every wish was fulfilled with a smile. Considering the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service, the prices were more than reasonable for a dining experience of this caliber in Rome. Tempio di Minerva is a restaurant I highly recommend. I will definitely be back—in fact, I can't wait!

We go to this restaurant often, and each time is a confirmation. Even though I'm vegetarian, I always find a wide variety of choices, which is not a given and truly appreciated. The cheeses and mozzarella are excellent, very fresh, and of high quality. I recommend everyone try the pasta pomodorella, a reinterpretation of garlic, oil, and chili pepper, served with a delicate pecorino cream around the plate: spectacular. The wine list is also top-notch, with select labels that perfectly complement the dishes. The staff is a real strength: polite, kind, helpful, and very professional. In short, a place where you always feel welcomed. Highly recommended!

Il locale ci era stato consigliato dall'albergatore ed aveva ottime recensioni in giro. Avremo quindi trovato sicuramente la serata sbagliata, ma a noi è parso un po' un locale strutturato più per il turismo che per la ricerca di qualche "tesoro nascosto". Vero che ormai (a Roma e non solo a Roma) la tendenza ad aprire vetrine della tradizione che poi si rivelano essere al più, appunto, una mera attrazione turistica dove consumare un pasto "tradizionale", sembra essere diventata la regola, ma qua siamo usciti un po' con l'amaro in bocca perché il locale sembrava presentarsi un po' più incline alle aspettative di chi rifugge la standardizzazione del turismo. Il tutto è sembrato un po' disorganizzato, tempi di servizio sfasati, vino richiesto che c'è, poi forse no, poi solo un calice, piatti non abbondantissimi anche se la qualità è di buon livello, almeno questo è indiscutibile per la nostra brevissima esperienza. Insomma, siamo rimasti un po' spiazzati ma non tutto è perduto. La cacio e pepe, infine, delude un po' le aspettative a causa di una cottura discutibile; peccato, la crema era davvero favolosa, ma la pasta si era attaccata quasi in un unico blocco. Credo, ma non so così esperto, che usare piatti con il fondo così stretto possa creare problemi nel contenere il calore della pasta appena cotta e che la mancata dispersione dello stesso non aiuti il riposo della pietanza. Infatti la cottura sembrava ok in superficie (forse leggermente troppo al dente) mentre sotto sembrava essersi incollata in un unico impasto. Ripeto, sono certo di aver centrato una serata no e mi sento di dare un'altra chance al posto, certo che da quanto letto in giro ci si aspettava decisamente di più.

Piatti tipici della tradizione romana, ottimamente eseguiti. Personale cordiale e servizio rapido, carbonara da applausi.
