I went to this restaurant with family friends. It's a welcoming place. Clean, simple, yet well-maintained. The ingredients are high-quality. I had gnocchi with chopped hazelnuts, scampi, and burrata, which was very good. For the main course, we wanted fish. The owner took us to choose some fish to cook on a TEGOLO at 400 degrees. This is the restaurant's signature dish, and I must say the choice was spot on. The desserts were good. Perhaps I'd add a few more to offer a wider selection, although I must say the owner was very kind. I chose pear sorbet, and he also took me to try a very good chocolate millefeuille. Lastly, he had us taste an excellent sweet sparkling wine called Anarchico Costituzionale. I'd say it paired very well with the desserts.

The kindness of the manager and all the staff was greatly appreciated and not to be taken for granted.
The raw vegetables were as fresh as the rest of the dishes.

Il Tegolo in Livorno is the answer to your need for pampering. A true gem. The person serving you at the table is the owner... Naturally, the chef is at the center, creating marvels.
You need to leave the noise aside: it's a sensory restaurant for chatting with friends or gazing at your loved one with dilated taste buds (papillae, not pupils). If these occasions aren't enough of a reason, I suggest a bit of imagination. Prices are average. The host is wonderful.

We had a wonderful time! The raw ham was truly fantastic. Service was attentive, but never intrusive, almost "family-like"...and the thoughtful touches when we were celebrating were an added bonus. The house wine was good and aromatic; we'll be back to try something else because we were full! Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant. I enjoyed the fish crudités... everything was very fresh and excellent quality... the first course was also good... The fish carbonara was delicious and the sea bream fillet was delicious. All washed down with a high-quality extra dry wine... I recommend it...

Everything was excellent. The raw fish was incredibly fresh. The dishes were beautifully cooked and presented to a high standard. The atmosphere was classy, the staff were very attentive, and the wines and spirits were top-notch! I recommend it to everyone.

Locale in centro, in un angolino di piazza garibaldi. Gli interni molto carini. Io ho pranzato all'esterno. Servizio così così. Forse sono capitata in un momento un po' incasinato. Poi nel finale il servizio si è ripreso. Personale e titolare molto simpatici e accoglienti. Menù fantastico con piatti particolari. Da assaggiare tutti. Ottimo cibo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
