We had a lovely dinner in this restaurant, one of the first restaurants that offered an English menu, thank you for this! Food was delicious and good portions, service was quick, friendly and professional.

A friend recommended this nice cosy restaurant to us. We were happy to heed his suggestion. Delicious home-cooked food. Great and friendly service from the owner down to the staff. We were attended to by Elena, who did a great job patentl patiently introducing us to the Sicilian specialities at the restaurant. We had never tried such dishes and enjoyed them very much. A must, in my humble opinion, for anyone wishing to try something different from the usual Italian fare. (Again, this is my personal opinion.)

Welcoming place, friendly staff in the service and in explaining the dishes. We had a very good sausage tartare, polenta and Ferrarese salami, and a really good meringue dessert.

We stumbled on Il Sorpasso and it proved a huge success. The waitresses helped us with the menu and wine which meant we had a perfect combination of flavours and tried a couple of new dishes. The pasta with asparagus and mussels and the involtini stuffed fish kebab were our favourites. Lovely experience with friendly waitresses and superb food.

Ristorante "di sostanza" : accogliente, ottima cucina, buona carta dei vini, essenziale ma interessante come arredo
Molto bello l’arredamento artistico con libreria in cartone, pesci appesi nei quadri e tavoli colorati, mentre non ampissima la gamma dei piatti ordinabili, alcuni anche finiti o non disponili per vari motivi.
Prezzo ok, unica cosa le porzioni un po’ tirate, ho sentito anche il signore del tavolo dietro chiedere di caricare maggiormente il suo primo.
Prezzo ok, con riportati i soli piatti e non anche acqua (presumo filtrata dal rubinetto) e coperto.
