Such a great neighborhood restaurant. The pizza was so delicious and the pasta dishes were strong. We ordered the carbonara and the amatriciana. Both very good but the carbonara was better. However, the star of the show was definitely the pizza. Highly recommend this place.

Nothing extraordinary, however, if you want an authentic Italian dining experience, and fresh pasta, this spot is a good choice for that. Simple, tasty, but again, wasn't blown away.

It's a decent Italian restaurant. We both had rigatoni. It needed to be cooked just a little longer. I ordered mine with meat sauce. My wife it with mozzarella and fresh tomato. It was just ok. We have been in Rome for 6 days and eaten at Al Simeto tonight, the food was delicious the pizza was the best we have had during our stay, wish we had found this place earlier, we were staying just around the corner, would definitely recommend.

Nice place, the atmosphere is very familiar and makes you feel at home. As for the food, it's good but something needs to be improved (I'm based on what we got). Perhaps the sore point is the price, a little too expensive compared to what we bought. I rate 4 stars. Advised

21/05/2025: A Perfect Roman Dinner Experience My wife, our baby, and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Le Grotte. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, especially toward our little one. The food was fantastic — we had traditional Roman dishes that were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The pasta was fresh, the wine selection was excellent, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending to a great meal. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, yet relaxed enough for a family. It’s not easy finding a place that feels right for both adults and kids, but Le Grotte got it just right. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Rome!

03/03/2025: Locale che ha cambiato location da poco, posto carino pulito, buona la proposta in menu, buoni antipasti buoni primi con qualche classico rivisitato, secondi anch’essi discreti le costatine un po’ troppo grandi per i nostri gusti, ottima scelta dei vini conto nella norma. Personale attento.
