Il Signor di Carbognano era un nobile del Seicento amante dei sorbetti della tradizione siciliana, citato anche da Leonardo Sciascia nella sua attivita' di giornalista. Ci siamo documentati quando abbiamo visto quest'insegna che ci affascinava in pieno centro a Palermo. Il gelato è di ottima qualita', con gusti variegati e anche "estrosi", la brioche pure, i prezzi sono adeguati a livello ...milanese. Un pallino in meno perche' non ci piace entrare in un locale (in quel momento deserto) dove la ragazza dietro il banco nemmeno alza gli occhi che sono concentrati sullo schermo del telefonino.

We arrived here during the Addiopizzo Travel bike tour. Extraordinary ice cream! The Carbognano, Sette Veli, Amarena and mulberry flavors are amazing!!! Congratulations, keep up the good work

Having met by chance thanks to the menu of the pizzeria next to this place, we enter to taste a tiramisu which turns out to be of a high standard, delicate and tasty, very good, one of the best I have ever eaten. Very kind guys. Approved 👍

I tasted the Strawberry and Amarena ice cream, which I would say was decent. Apart from the ice cream, I only saw a few sweets. They could be enriched with other delights for the palate.

Excellent ice cream, nothing to complain about, perhaps one of the best in town. The flaw is the service. The clerks are unable to put the ice cream in the cone. It is clear that there is very little experience.

06/01/2025: Very good address to share! Quietly away from the tumultuous street, we ate very well with dishes that were different from all the surrounding restaurants and which were incredibly good! Homemade and beautiful pasta. And the service is impeccable, very pleasant and very kind. We will give the address to our friends in Palermo! THANKS !
