Typical cuisine, homemade pasta, excellent wild boar and duck ragù. More than generous portions, quick and efficient service. Discovered thanks to a friend, I will definitely return to taste the Fiorentina and the Lampredotto. I will mention it among the restaurants to stop and eat at!

We were in the Barberino del Mugello area to collect mushrooms. Il Sergente is a historic roadside restaurant, the name is dedicated to the grandfather who founded it about a century ago. Perhaps in summer the most typical restaurant is open, located a few steps away from the entrance to the adjacent campsite. The food is good, the tagliatelle with duck is particularly good, the Florentine and the tagliatelle are truly legendary. There is a varied choice of desserts. The service is spartan but kind

Mi sono fermato per una notte come tappa di lavoro e devo dire che dichiarare fatiscente la camera ,sarebbe un grande complimento..... Il personale ,la gentilezza ,la cordialità e il ristorante fanno indubbiamente la differenza in quanto tutto magnificamente perfetto.

Ottima cena, gruppo di 7 amici, antipasto con affettati di ottima qualità, galletto al mattone superiore, salsicce e contorni perfetti. Dopo 8 ore di bicicletta un ristoro perfetto!!

13/10/2024: We stayed at this property in mid-October and had a very good time. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and generally well-maintained structure with swimming pool still accessible. Special mention for the staff starting from the girl at the reception up to the chef who is always kind and extremely helpful.
