Il Sentiero In Cesate

We dined at the Gandula Restaurant in Cesate, a charming location surrounded by a large green space, making it an ideal destination for important events such as weddings, first communions, and so on. The restaurant has a welcoming indoor dining room, a covered outdoor area, and—the real highlight—a vast, illuminated garden that creates a magical atmosphere. The service is attentive, and the menu is simple yet sophisticated. We ordered risotto with ossobuco (very good) and excellent paccheri with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella. We will definitely return to try the cotoletta alla milanese: we saw some magnificent ones paraded between the tables, and it will be our next stop. Although some dishes are a bit pricey, the quality of the cuisine and the ambiance are worth the visit.

A week after our wedding at this beautiful location, I can begin by saying that it has become a special place for us. From the moment we first arrived at Gandula, we felt a connection with Maddalena, who listened to us and accommodated us in every way (until the day before, I had some people in doubt due to health problems, and even then she was super, which is not a given). The wedding day was perfect and magical, from the ceremony to the aperitif to the lunch. All our guests complimented us on everything! We were happy and thrilled because everything was perfect! 5 stars, in my opinion, is worth every penny. First of all, the welcome from Maddalena, David, and the entire staff is always pleasant and warm. The food is excellent and incredibly fresh, expertly prepared by the chef and his staff. The service is attentive and impeccable. The location, surrounded by greenery, is beautiful. I wanted to thank Maddalena for her professionalism, kindness, and sensitivity. Today we celebrated my dad's 91st birthday, and everything was perfect...as always. Every time, it's like being at home. We feel welcomed with open arms, with his huge smile. Generous portions and everything delicious. Maddalena and her team are truly fantastic, they make you feel at home and the quality of the dishes is always excellent, with seasonal proposals and then what can I say about the location in the middle of nature, a corner of paradise outside the city ❤️

Maddalena e la sua squadra sono assolutamente meravigliosi! Abbiamo scelto Gandula per il nostro matrimonio e non ce ne siamo pentiti neanche per un istante, durante tutta l'organizzazione e il giorno stesso. Sono sempre pronti ad aiutare e risolvere qualsiasi dubbio e inconveniente, sono super attenti a tutti gli ospiti, gentili, cordiali, disponibili, simpatici! Il cibo è strepitoso, tutti e 85 i nostri ospiti (non scherzo!) ci hanno fatto i complimenti per l'aperitivo, il primo e il secondo, per la bontà, la quantità e punto forte, che fosse tutto servito caldo! Idem per il vino, complimenti su complimenti! Ovviamente bisogna menzionare anche il luogo in se', siamo stati fuori tutto il tempo, dalla cerimonia al dopo cena, si presta benissimo con i campi vicini, gli alberi, la parte piastrellata con il carretto, le lucine sul pratone, tutto molto molto fotogenico. Nel caso di pioggia anche l'interno sarebbe stato altrettanto bello! Il nostro matrimonio è stato esattamente come lo avevamo immaginato, non potevamo davvero scegliere luogo e persone migliori per aiutarci a realizzare un sogno!
