We've been coming here with the family for ages (as well as to the Garbatella location), and we've always been extremely satisfied.
What can I say? Excellent quality ingredients, pizza that's rarely found anywhere else in Rome (a cross between an American slice and a classic Roman pan pizza, and trust someone who's had their hands in the dough, it's something worth trying at least once in your life. Crispy, flaky, light yet filling...not much to say...Bonè!)
The owner makes you feel at home between a chat and a liqueur, and the service is always super fast, courteous, and attentive.
In short...if they could give it 10 stars, I would have...but I can't.
Special mention goes to the bruschetta, always expertly topped with seasonal ingredients.
One of the best in Rome, without a doubt.

We reserved a table outside by phone, but when we arrived we decided to sit inside instead, and the owner immediately made sure we were satisfied. Delicious fried food, authentic Roman supplì... "al telefono," breaded with panco.
Multi-flavor pizza slices, highly hydrated, with a crispy base, delicious, and served on a round board in the center of the table.
Small, but intimate and welcoming. Gluten- and lactose-free options available.
Definitely worth a try.

Il Secchio e l'Olivaro is always a guarantee. I come here regularly and am always amazed by the quality of the food and the uniqueness of the selection.
The fried foods are delicious and range from the classics, executed to perfection, to more creative options, always with quality ingredients.
The bruschetta is addictive; the one with ciauscolo, in my opinion, is sublime.
The pizza, paired with a pitcher of cold beer, is the finishing touch: crispy, light, with a unique dough and a fantastic flavor.
The Margherita and marinara are top notch.
For the foodies, there are also delicious desserts; I had to give in early.
Importantly, my wife, who is gluten-free, finds a menu that suits her needs, without compromising on flavor, quality, or safety.

What an incredible pizza shop. We showed up 45 minutes before closing and the place was packed! They quickly sat us and we ordered two Margharita pizzas. Both were great but the Grana was fantastic.

Very nice place, with very friendly staff. Their hospitality delighted us, we felt like we were locals even though it was our first time here. And probably not the last. The food is very tasty and you don't have to wait too long. The desserts are highly recommended even though they didn't seem like it at first glance. I simply have no complaints. All recommendations for this little restaurant where you can enjoy a meal or have a glass of wine in a good atmosphere.

Non è solo una pizzeria e soprattutto non è come tante altre. È ritrovarsi in luogo della tradizione dove oltre ad una pizza particolare cotta a legna in grandi teglie puoi divertirti ad assaggiare bruschette per tutti i gusti per poi farti del male con i meravigliosi fritti di Fabio, uno tira l’altro. Da non perdere il famoso supplì al telefono “roba de na vorta” fatto in casa con un ragù vero e tanta mozzarella che fila, fila veramente.
