We visited this restaurant without reading the reviews, which I just read. I was perplexed, as I didn't encounter any of the criticisms I'd read. I must say, the location is enchanting. I definitely recommend it for a romantic getaway, but also for a dinner with friends. It feels like being in the middle of the sea, and relaxation sets in the moment you look out. We found the food superb; the octopus alla diavola was sublime, as was the seafood carbonara and the rigatoni with Genoese tuna sauce. The service was impeccable, courteous and attentive, but never intrusive. The bill was reasonable.

Restaurant overlooking the sea in Calafuria...you can enjoy a meal while enjoying a priceless view of the sea near Livorno. It also has a parking lot reserved for customers. Good quality/price ratio!!!

We stopped here just to watch the sunset, but ended up buying two beers. It was quite expensive, and even though it was bottled beer, I had to wait almost 10 minutes to be served. They were only open for drinks, as the restaurant only opened after 7 pm. Even so, I found the service quite slow.

The food is very good...they offer unique but tasty dishes. The location is nice, although they could do with a little more attention to the outdoor area, which slopes down to the cliff.

Breathtaking views, excellent food, and generous portions. We also found the prices to be fair, in line with other restaurants. I only found the cover charge a bit high at €3.50; perhaps it would have been more appropriate to include at least water. Another flaw was the waiter being a bit hasty in clearing our plates, while the lady at the reception desk was smiling and friendly. Overall, I'd recommend it.

There were 14 of us, without a reservation. To avoid overloading the kitchen and having to wait too long, we accepted the same menu, excluding three of us (two fried pork chops with potatoes and one grilled fish steak). The menu was the same for everyone: seafood appetizer/rigatoni with tuna ragù/mixed fried fish. The first course was very
salty, and several people didn't eat it, and even those who did couldn't appreciate it. It's a shame because it looked inviting! Table service was slow, a bit too slow! Well, mistakes in the kitchen are inevitable... but I can't express a more positive opinion.

Ottima cena con amici davanti un mare che respirava,un tramonto stupendo ed una luna magica.
Il risotto era davvero buono, il fritto ottimo. Gli spaghetti e gli gnocchi sono stati apprezzati,così come il pesce spada. Cameriere e camerieri carini e gentili.What else?? Ci torneremo.
