Stopped in late afternoon for aperitivo. We took the aperitivo combo for 2 which includes a mix of cold cuts, cheese, arancini, olives and a glass of wine each. Or should I say plastic cup of wine each. They waiter advised us that they used to have actual glasses, but no longer due because patrons were breaking at least one a day, so it’s understandable, but I still prefer glass as it bring out the wine’s true character and it’s more ecological. Only negative point I have on the actual food is that the bread was a little hard and stale, but the rest was excellent. Would return!

Piff and puff who work here have zero knowledge of rubber balls, but they make a simple and good sandwich! Parmesan pieces as big as olives and a big handful of prosciutto! Good and simple

Sorpresa eccellente !! Per la passeggiata in centro mi aspettavo di mangiare qualcosa in quei ristoranti iper-turistici della zona, invece sono capitato in questo negozio dall’atmosfera familiare e cordiale, gestita da ragazzi giovani capaci e empatici…cibo al top, schiacciate di qualità, salumi e altro da sogno !! Da ripetere al più presto

17/08/2024: I booked this restaurant on The Fork without knowing it, mainly attracted by its central location. Upon arrival, I wasn't particularly impressed by the entrance, but once I went down the stairs, the atmosphere changed completely: the place turned out to be intimate, welcoming and very particular, perfect for a dinner for two. From starter to dessert, each dish was carefully presented, and the flavours, especially of the fish dishes, were truly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tuna tataki and the bacon-wrapped scallops. The pistachio cheesecake concluded an impeccable dinner. And if after dinner you add a romantic walk through the alleys of Rome, up to the magnificent Trevi Fountain, the experience becomes truly unmissable.
