Everything was delicious! The service was fast and with a smile (something that's hard to find these days). The warm welcome and hospitality complemented these generous and tasty dishes! The icing on the cake was Mr. Quirino, who made the dining experience full of joy and kindness! We'll definitely be back very soon!

We had dinner here on December 30th. Very nice place. The hospitality was a little too intrusive, but that's okay. They want to involve the guests. We in the north are more mindful of ourselves, that's just how we are. Let's start by saying that we liked the dishes, except for a few lukewarm dishes and a lot of coarse salt on the meat, which we don't like. The only downside is that, as other tourists later confirmed, it's the custom in many places to constantly bring food you didn't request, which also forced us to eat more than we felt like. Out of politeness... we love to eat, but at lunch we had a large meal and thought we could eat à la carte and stay light... but no. The next day, the 31st, we also had a big dinner... in any case, you're not told that it's a set menu... but then you have to pay for it... and it's at least 30 euros per person.

An unforgettable evening at Il Ruspante restaurant in Ascoli Piceno, where I had the pleasure of dining with my mother. The experience was excellent from the start, thanks in part to Quirino's warm welcome and impeccable hospitality, always attentive and helpful. It was also a pleasure to be greeted several times by Mr. Gigi. The menu features dishes that celebrate local traditions. I started with a delicious appetizer of house cured meats, followed by classic Ascoli fried foods, a true delight. The highlight, however, was the pappardelle with wild boar, a true explosion of flavors. Quirino's mother's desserts were also delicious. What makes this place special is the quality of the ingredients: all the products come from the family business, ensuring an authentic and genuine experience. It's a place where you can breathe in the love for their homeland and its culinary traditions. As the famous poet Giosuè Carducci said, "Ascoli, more than a name, is a title." And Il Ruspante is a perfect ambassador for this magnificent city, a place that combines culinary excellence with a welcoming, family atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the authentic flavors of Ascoli Piceno.

Today for lunch, we were welcomed by the staff like family. We ate very good, traditional dishes, prepared truly well. The owners, Gigi, father, and son, were wonderful and friendly people. The price was more than fair for everything they served. I recommend trying it.

How can I give 7 stars? Best restaurant in Ascoli hands down. People who complain about the lack of a la carte menu or the fact they bring a bottle of wine if you ask for a glass, don’t understand the culture and should not travel to Ascoli.

VOTO 10. Consigliatissimo ci tornerei. Consigliato da un'amica siamo stati in questo locale per cena. Accolti benissimo, il servizio è stato ottimo. Antipasti eccellenti, pappardelle al cinghiale e rigatoni al sugo eccellenti, secondi di carne strepitosi. Per concludere dolci fatti in casa ottimi. Che dire, grazie per l'ospitalità e per la vostra cucina tipica ascolana.

Cena buonissima! Accoglienza strepitosa, ti senti veramente coccolato! Piatti buonissimi dall'antipasto alla Ratafia.
