Siamo finiti in questa locanda per puro caso durante una manifestazione al castello. La titolare ci ha accolto con simpatia e cordialità. Abbiamo puntato sulla pasta fatta in casa e non abbiamo sbagliato. Ottimi i tre diversi taglieri di antipasto. Atmosfera d’altri tempi. Ci torneremo sicuramente una domenica a pranzo

Siamo ritornati dopo qualche mese e, ancora come allora, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ottimo tutto: iniziato con tagliere di salumi, spalla cruda e gorgonzola accompagnati da un eccezionale gnocco fritto. Io ho preso come primo Pisarei e fagioli borlotti, alcuni i Gnocchi di patate con cipolla fondente e guanciale, altri Manzo all’olio accompagnato da polenta; tutto squisito e rigorosamente casalingo (anche il pane fatto da loro). Il Tiramisù delizioso! Ottimo la carta dei vini. Gestori accoglienti e gentili. Prezzi onesti. Consigliatissimo.

Excellent dinner! We returned after a few months and, still like then, we had a great time. Everything was excellent: started with a platter of cured meats, raw shoulder and gorgonzola accompanied by an exceptional fried gnocco. I had Pisarei and borlotti beans as a first course, some had potato gnocchi with dark onion and bacon, others had beef in oil accompanied by polenta; everything is delicious and strictly homemade (even the bread made by them). Delicious Tiramisu! Excellent wine list. Welcoming and kind hosts. Honest prices. Highly recommended.

Delightful place, it feels like taking a journey back in time, entering your grandmother's house, typical of the Po Valley. Excellent quality food, from bread to desserts all homemade. Exquisite dishes, the "shoe" is a must to return clean dishes. Congratulations and well done to this wonderful couple who manage this tavern superbly.
