Good, but not great....the place hasn't changed much since many years ago, much like all businesses...the prices aren't bad, quite fair. There's not much choice in Old Caserta, so it's the perfect place for those with no expectations.

From appetizer to dessert, each course was a small masterpiece. The atmosphere is quiet, with a touch of simple and sincere elegance, perfect for those looking for a moment of true refreshment for the body and spirit without too many pretensions. The price was also good!

Locale antiquato ma pulito. Tanto spazio a disposizione. Cucina semplice fatta di cose genuine. Servizio celere e cordiale. Ideale per una sosta in questo tranquillo borgo medioevale.

We were about 20 people, we stopped for lunch in this little restaurant (with reservation) in the beautiful small village of Caserta Vecchia. I feel like leaving an excellent review, I ate well from the starter to the dessert, they were also quick, I also have celiac disease, I found a lot of attention to this condition, there was also an excellent dessert (which usually never comes for me). Finally, the owner's kindness was infinite when it started to rain, we were without umbrellas and he accompanied us with his car in groups of 4 or 5 people at a time, to the bus parking lot one km away. I'd say it deserves all the stars.🤩And for a fair price!

16/09/2025: The Sunday desserts are the only ones that are traditional and 100% artisanal in the Caserta area: the lemon delight is out of this world, and the sfogliatelle are also excellent. A regular customer, and this pastry shop deserves 5 stars.
